  • Wow. That 25" looks like it belongs on a mountain top observatory.

  • all for astronomy. telescopes, mounts, accessories, service, know-how

    hoo-germany.de

  • I'd love to chat with this guy for a couple of hours!

  • What's the name of that big telescope, peeping tom?

  • i have a telescope i bought for $30 at walmart but it barley magnifies the moon

  • so what do i buy????

  • I don't like dobsonian style.Personal taste.

  • @Arxidianomeas True but for someone taking up stargazing with a limited funds the Dob is the best bang for your buck and prob one of the most simple scopes to use.

  • Hi to everyone.......I want to buy a telescope but I don't know which one I should go for it's either going to be an Orion atlas 10 or an Orion skyquest xt12....which one should I go for......I want one that will allow me to some deep-sky viewing(galaxies, nebulas etc) I know both of the are able to see the mentioned above but which one is the best one....what's your reccomendation.....which one would you guys choose

  • You're a good speaker. Good job.

  • Yeah.

    Got mine today

    SkyWatcher 8" Dobson f/6

    awaiting clear skies.

  • what is the difference betwen the short tube or long tube telescopes. im a beginner and want to buy a telescope to see the moon and other planets like venus, mars, jupiter and saturn. Will a short tube like the one from the ''Orion ShortTube 80-A Refractor Telescope'' be good for me?

    someone answer please

  • check out that bad boy !!!

  • i have a reflecter its mark is bushnell

  • Most big dobs need to be collimated

    many times per night.

That requires a laser collimater & skill.

  • They don't. And it doesn't require a laser collimater and skill. Just common sense. The term Dobsonian refers to the mount, not the optics. Newtonian reflectors are sometimes mounted on a Dobsonian mount. This means that the tube assembly and optics within remain static.

  • Those are nice telescopes.. thanks for the video.. you have helped me understand more about dobsonians!! thanks

  • What is the price on that 13" and 25" telescope?

  • I think more than $10,000 for the 25" telescope

  • very beautiful scopes. I'm so impressed and envious.

  • Don't be envious. You can afford a decent telescope to use at home which will show you some beautiful objects. Start with the basics and work your way up. You'll get there.
