  • Good topic to tackle Shawn, as it is a common place, that many new believers have questions about. May God be your strength.

  • @TheBIackSoIar stone the heretic to death!

  • If only shawn would apply this amount of study to something useful, like math or physics.

  • I tried to watch the whole video, I really tried it. But after like 12 minutes I felt like to get annoyed to death.

  • Jesus was a human just like all of us

  • VenomFangX's intro is sooo a good demonstration of his ego problem.

  • Leave Shawn alone!

    Leave him alone!

  • @kylieluvsshawnie lol everyone, even christians, hate the dude.

  • @Drgamedood ;-)

  • If jesus = god, and god fathered jesus through mary, then jesus is a mother fucker?

I finally feel like I'm beginning to understand this religion stuff..

  • Notice that even with the death of Osama Bin Laden, Shawn seems to be too obsessed with himself to voice his own opinion on today's issues.

  • Pt 7: 15) "'Spirit' of God" in Gen 1:2: the Hebrew "ruach" can also be translated as "breath" or "wind"; there is no indication of Trinitarian thought here.

    16) Does VFX really believe that only ONE MAN landed on the moon? Probably!

    17) VFX';s lack of biblical Greek causes him to misunderstand the term "person" (Gr: "prosopon") in the video.

I know this is long, but it's only the tip of the iceberg.

This idiot has no business speaking on this topic, except to mislead people.

  • @polemius01 AronRa gets to go on a plane to see another country to have discussions with the smartest people on the planet, while VenomFangX gets to pay thousands of dollars on an education that will not teach him anything useful in the real world.

    Bwahahaha.

  • @Water4Jeremiah Fortunately for VFX, he doesn't live in the real world. His world is the world where he can cheat sick children, control of bunch of stupid college-age kids to do his will, and where everything is all right because VFX's warped seneibility says it's all right. You're correct in your analysis.

    Bwahahaha indeed;-)

  • Pt 6 13) VFX's claim that Jesus, as a FULL human being, wasn't tempted, once again, goes against thousands of years of interpretation.

    14) VFX's abysmal ignorance of Hebrew causes him to make the basic mistake of saying "Elohim" indicates the Trinity. It does not. Hebrew does not have comparative or superlative degrees in its grammar, so uses the plural of "el" in this instance to indicate God's power. The ensuing use of "us" is not theology, but grammar: a plural noun takes a plural pronoun.

  • Pt 5: 10) While medieval philosophy divided humanity into body, soul and mind, VFX breaks new theological ground by saying "soul" is different from "spirit." One waits breathlessly for his book on the topic.

    11) In the face of 1700 years of mainstream Christian thought, VFX declares that Jesus did not have a human soul; distinct ignorance or rejection of the Council of Chalcedon (451).

    12) He equate "human" solely with "flesh." Again Millennia of philosophy disagree with him.

  • Pt 4: 8) While touting his non-existent knowledge of Greek, he quotes the KJV of 1 Jn 5:7. The KJV translators are notorious for their lack of knowledge of ancient Greek, and their "Trinitarian" translation is not the Greek, which speaks about spirit, blood and water; it does not mention Father, Son and HS.

    9) At 9:39, he inundates us with one of his usual quotation cluster-f**ks. Most of them do not address his topic. Dishonesty, thy name is VFX!

  • Pt 3: 7) Jn 3:16 does not say, "God sent his only 'begotten' Son," but only "Son." More lies. VFX knows nothing about the term "begotten" as it is understood by the Councils of Nicaea (325) and 1 Constantinople (381). As Gregory of Nyssa says, we cannot truly understand the meaning of the term in this instance.

He also knows nothing about "nature" ("ousia" in Greek) and its use in Greek theological thought. More on this below.

  • Pt 2: 3) Gen 18:1 does not say, "the Lord 'God,'" but only "Lord." Dishinesty on VFX's part (what a surprise!).

    4) Despite his throwing around a couple of words, VFX knows nothing of biblical Hebrew or Greek. Examples will follow.

    5) He quote Jn 1:1; 14 without the slightest knowledge of "Logos" theology.

    6) What does "Son of God" mean? In the Hebrew Scriptures, it is a title of the King of Israel. Another convenient omission on VFX's part.

  • Pt 1: This is an example of VFX engaging in hard-core mental masturbation. Some of his nonsense, revealed:

    1) His Gospel quotations are overwhelmingly from John. He conveniently omits mentioning the differences between John and the other 3 Gospels.

    2) He plays the usual cherry-picking game with Scripture, bringing out the condemnation of Jn. 8:24, but ignores 8:26, in Which Jesus talks about "the One who sent me." That would ruin his argument; the Bible can be so inconvenient at times!

  • Ten and a half minutes in - "Mens land'd on the muen... duz tht meen I land'd on the muen?" I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! *runs away screaming*

Let this be a warning to you, concentrated stupidity can be hazardous.

  • So PCS just made an argument that Jesus is a demigod. That's funny.

  • So PCS just made an argument that Jesus is a demigod. That's funny.

  • Only a fool would think they know the mind of a fictional character or an unknown unknown. God is unknown to us to exist and if it does we certainly don't know how it thinks or what it believes. The worst thing is that the christian god gets a morality license card even after doing evil things. sounds silly doesn't it?

  • @Requiemxtoxinnocence "Only a fool would think they know the mind of a fictional character "

Imaginary friends tend to agree with the chidren who invent them. It's as if they could read their minds!

  • LOL i love how he walks in from the side "Hi There". I really LOL'd

  • I'll never forget how VenomFangX said the Jews deserved what happened to them in the Holocaust, it was in the video before this I think.

  • @Water4Jeremiah That was actually the second time he said it. Here's the first time (skip to 9:30). /watch?v=KZU5T3s99qQ I can't believe that after all the flack he got the first time around he'd think it was a good idea to repeat this statement. It's really scary to see where his fundamentalism is leading him.

  • @GuineaPigDan I was almost going to make a video about Tyndale University in Toronto exposing them for anti-Semitism but I had to make sure they did teach that, and it turns out I DID see that first video you linked. VenomFangX holds those views alone and don't reflect the seminary he attends, but based on the few videos I've seen he's self-loathing and wants to despise himself (he's Jewish born) so he can justify Christ's sacrifice for himself. That's why he's really anti-Semitic.

  • We will need a lot more hemp before we're through!

  • shawn is unbelievably retarded and boring at the same time. I usually watch his vids because i get a good laugh, but i just can't watch them anymore.

  • I'll take a guess at who the son in Proverbs 30:4 is. Maybe it's the nation of Israel? Israel is called God's son in places like Hosea 11.

  • brother lot of english bible have wrong translations

  • I still can't get over the intro. It makes me wanna punch VFX in the face.

  • @extion I know - batting his eyes at the viewer,

  • @extion

    that's bcause u hate god.

    kidding.
