@smacketh79 check my other video, they changed the way the shield works on the small adds so they die much faster now.

@smacketh79 The small ones used to be the last one to go down since they had a shield that reduced damage taken by 90%, its just 50% now so they take 5 times the damage they used to take and when they go down you will have less dps from fire nova.

That was the hotfix they did on July 8, they still havent changed the tooltip but if you hit them with a spell you should see that it takes 50% less not 90%.

I farmed these for 3 hours and got absolutely nothing, however, I killed the other packs like the scorps and turtles and they dropped 5 epics within 1 hour. Either luck factored or drop rates were reduced on pyrelords.

@Unrealrating its not a glyph, its a talent, called Call of Flame.. Adds up to 6 seconds each fire nova, up to 2 minutes.

@Unrealrating Glyph of Flame Shock only extends time on the initial Flame Shock. The real extension is coming from fire nova. If you have a Flame Shocked target, and that target is Fire Nova'd by another Flame Shocked target, both gain up to 6 more seconds to their duration on Flame Shock.. That's all there is to it. And this is made possible by the revamped (at 4.2) Call of Flame talent.

@TheAlterego08 If a flameshocked target gets hit by fire nova it adds 6 secs to the duration and a fire nova doesnt hit the target it spreads from

I tried this, after a bit of practice it's pretty easy, except I do it on 25 man, double the amount of trash, and because of the way fire nova scales, doesn't take much more time either

@flesher2 not sure about per mob, but in about 9 runs i've gotten 10 epics. There's double the amount of trash (around 40 mobs from the 5 groups) so there is at least double the chance from that since it takes around the same time (unleashed fire novas at peak hitting for 700k-1.1mil combined damage with 25-35 flame shocks and fire nova is more effective at killing off the pyrelords at the end since there is more of them)

@MrCreeed Im not looking away from the mobs when i cast flame shock nor when i start to cast lightning bolt. Looting while runing is harder since you need to stop just a bit so the loot window comes up and then you can keep runing.
