This is definitely a valuable video, but it strikes me that these are less "things to learn from porn" than "things you should know BEFORE watching porn." I'd also like to see more emphasis on the fact that the sexualized violence seen in a lot of porn doesn't represent what most people find to be mutually enjoyable and empowering sex.
Circumcision removes the most sensitive part of a man's penis. The five most sensitive areas of the penis are on the foreskin. The transitional region from the external to the internal foreskin is the most sensitive region of the fully intact penis, and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis.
All of those points were very useful and I hope plenty of young men and women will hear your message.
I think the circumcision issue will work itself out in time, as more intact men reach adulthood - and therefore have the option of becoming porn actors. Most men in American porn are from those generations that were automatically circumcised. :(
I do think point THREE is the most important - communication with a partner really is the KEY to developing a great sex life.
After spending my entire career being a psychoanalyst and hiding behind the safety of an author's keyboard, entering the world of YouTube has been quite the challenge. It's also such a different medium than film or the written word. How do you fit 15 minutes of information in a video that needs to be less than 5?
Hopefully, I'll become more relaxed on camera as we go, and we'll learn how to do really helpful videos in--gulp--less than 5 minutes.
well, know you've got a supportive fanbase on your side. I think you're doing a great job.
Any chance I could convince you to do a video on circumcision? On a medium like YouTube, the information you have to share could really do a lot to help people better understand the functions of the foreskin. That could do a lot of good!
Either way, I think your work is fantastic, and I'm sure your videos will only get even better with practice. :)
