  • I live on 100 calorie diet popcorn packs when I am on a diet. But I am hungry all the time. Do you think that is what is making me so hungry?

  • Thrilling movie clip... I've been using DietOramy weight-reduction plan (revealed it on google's search engine) for quite a few time now and my positive aspects are actually impressive - I burned 8 percent of my total fatty tisue within initial cycle

  • Avoid wheat at all cost. Dr. William Davis says it causes leptin resistance, ALL by itself.

  • fact: u lose wight on this diet because u consumer less calories than u burn.

  • I work shift work - how can I adapt this to fit my schedule?

  • Re: not snacking - can you drink water to stave any hunger pangs?

  • What happens when you work 3rd shift? Like 11pm to 7 am? =/

  • You're so funny, Byron. You crack me up! Thanks for the very informative video!

  • the Leptin nightmare...:)) excellent vid!!

  • I don't obey the rules strictly but overall it has worked for me. my appetite is less and I am not compelled to snack. If I really stuck to the rules I'm sure Id be much further progressed than I am now.

  • ...even some peanut butter not half the jar ROFL best video ever

  • @MrNumberFour Half a jar of peanut butter, breakfast of champions.

  • @danishhawaiian - Here are some example schedules that fit into the timing recommendations. It is actually quite doable!

    8:00 am breakfast

    1:00 pm lunch

    6:00 pm dinner

    Or

    7:30 am breakfast

    1:00 pm lunch

    6:30 pm dinner

  • If I need 10-11 hours between Dinner and breakfast and 5-6 hours between meals then I need a 25-29 hour day... Hello???? The math not work here. This makes the diet ridiculously difficult to follow... actually it would be impossible to follow since I still live in the world where there are only 24 hours per day.

  • You're doing the math wrong. If you take only 3 MEALS A DAY as he says in the video, you have plenty of time to work the times as you please.

  • @Danishhawaiian you're retarded. 10 to 11 hours inbetween what should be your FIRST and LAST meal, DAT MEANS IT'S MORE THAN 24 HOURS IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!! A DURRRRRRRRR

  • Hi, want to confirm if taking a nap in the afternoon (between lunch and dinner) will throw off the leptin system?

  • i totally agree, i read Gary Taubes' book and follow a neurosurgeon named Jack Kruse's blog, he goes in depth about leptin too.

  • Advising people to eat 3 meals a day and only 3 is unrealistic. And "misguided " leptin. I think God knows what He's doing. If you just go to a vegan diet low in added fats (like oil) you don't have to worry about this at all. You can eat as much as you want at whatever time you want. You're body will tell you when to stop and you won't have to worry about leptin. I hope this video doesnt confuse people and they take action on what he's saying.

  • Very nice vidio awesome

  • What do you do when you work odd hours????

  • Also, when you do this diet you will notice weird cravings for good foods (vegetables and such). And you will be able to look at junk food and just not be interested anymore. My Mom is on it too and she and I both notice the cravings go away BIG TIME.

5 or 6 hours between meals flies by once you adjust to this 'diet'.

This really beats watching carbs and eating 4 400 calorie meals all day, and beating myself up with exercise.

There's definitely something to this and CRAVINGS. You'll see.

  • I started this diet about 2 weeks ago. I was about 35 pounds overweight and took it off with exercise and calorie restriction. But once I stopped I started gaining about ten pounds back and got worried.

I got tired of eating snacks all day to "boost metabolism" and obsessing about calories. I started the Leptin diet and I took off about 3- 4 pounds steady.

I feel no starvation, better energy, and the BIG thing I notice is no cravings for junk. I hardly think about food now on this.

  • man, i was eating 6 meals a day because of the metabolism idea. in fact i was breaking all the rules.

  • @johnnykalalua and u gained weight?

  • What about exercise??

  • I consume leptin for 5days and I lose my appetite.

I feel I am craving more water and I have lost around 3kg so far.

Leptin makes me eat half of my portions and I dont feel tired a whole day.

  • well it seams that those rules are just basic eating rules, with no change what so ever.and to eat just 3 meals, for a normal person who let say needs 2400 kcal per day, that is 800 per meal.but that is to much to eat one time,so it´s good to stay below 500 kcal per meal.and you may add,the high quality food, not McDonald´s junk and candy

  • I will try this. Of the 5 rules I'm already going several of them, low carb, not eating past 6, not overeating at any one large meal, and protein at breakfast most of the time, though lately I've been having a flax meal and coconut hot cereal for the fiber and not any protein, so I'll make a point of getting back to that.

I guess the only real change for me will be eating only 3 meals and nothing in between (that's a mantra at Overeaters Anon and Greysheet by the way). I was eating like 4-5

  • This diet works really well! I lost in one week 1,2 kg! Its a bit hard to eat a lot of protein, but I go well with the 20 gr minimum. this is because I don't agree with the protein powders because they have glutamate and that's not very healthy. But the rest is ok. I Lost some weight with other diets to, but the positive points with this one are: not felling cravings, and you notice very quickly the lost os fat in the belly. Great diet. I have a blog about it: dietadaleptina.blogspot.com

  • one of the best videos i seen on weigloss

  • @luciphurr Actually, it's probably worse to eat when you're not very hungry.. and healthier for you to occasionally "fast." either by accident or on purpose....

  • Is your Leptin Diet more credible than other books written by Endocrinologists? I am bit skeptical about your diet as there are many books written by actual Endocrinologists and from what I read in reviews they say your "strategies" differ. My question is how can you a "Nutritionist" have a better understanding than that of a real Endocronologist on a hormone that belongs to endocrinology. Are you really an expert?

  • An awesome life-changing diet that really should not be called a diet! It has made me feel so energetic and well. I have had numerous illnesses this past ten years secondary to fibromyalgia. The weight loss is awesome and I am sure I will plateau eventually but will tweak my calorie intake and exercise more when it does. I thank you so much!

  • I have a hectic job and sometimes don't have the time to take a break and eat a nice meal. Is it better to skip the meal all together, eat later than i normally would, or have a handful of nuts on the go?

  • I forgot to mention that i work evenings so any meal eaten after work is before i go to bed.

  • @toxicKt Hey there, I'd recommend just skipping the meal and not eating later either.. You'll eventually make time for yourself to eat during the day when you get hungry enough.... I'd advocate 1-2 meals per day and skipping breakfast if you're not hungry for breakfast....

  • @toxicKt Sounds like the warrior diet would suit ur lifestyle.

  • i just got your book and can't wait to read it!

  • Thank you so much for the truth! This really has worked for me. Giving up snacking was super important and I'm so happy you emphasize it!

  • i just recently heard of leptin from my maximized living chiropractor so i had to look it up. this is fantastic info

  • Hi there, just wanted to say I like your videos and if/when you get some spare time maybe you could view/comment on my videos as well.

    Thanks so much!,

    JH

  • this is great, what about drinking tea between meals?

  • Essentially anything under 30 calories between meals is considered small enough to not trigger a digestion cycle - plain tea and coffee are fine - hold off on the sugar.

  • Thanks for explaining the hormone leptin, I love your book, Mastering Leptin!

when will doctors read your book and finally understand why people gain so much weight and how they can lose it naturally, get in rhythm with their hormones the way their body is intended to work!
