Protestant churches (which i have observed) preach the old testament. the ten commandments are in the old testament and all of the foundations of Christianity are in it. you cant just slug it off since Christianity is just an extension of Judaism.

Now these muslim DID have religious tolerance, yes under some restriction but they did allow to worship. Look up your history book, Islam was always tolerant and never forced conversion,most historians would say that Islam was an example to the total intolerance of Europe during the middle Ages, this is part of their Quran. The Romans WERE Catholic after Constantine the great making it a Roman Catholic land the Byzantines are just modern names for the Eastern Roman Empire, that was Orthodox.later it was muslim. until the first crusade when it was captured and turned into the Kingdom Of Jerusalem which was catholic. then it swapped between muslim states, until the Muslim Ottoman Empire controled it for a long time.

Bah, my opinion is that: His father was king in 1154–1189 on english name Henrik II, so it's not very wise if his son is named by french name.

@Khan12078 Spain was recovered and in the same year discovered America and created the first global empire in History. The turks were halted in Vienna and crushed in Lepanto. Sicily was recovered. North african muslims were conquered. Indian muslims crushed. Indonesians crushed. Persians and turks obliterated by the russians. Arabs crushed.
Even in the crusades a lot of battles were won and the muslim advance was halted for many years. And Jerusalem was conquered twice.
