The sad thing about viewing this kind of work is that we do not get to see the fabulous textures in the surfaces of the works, take it from me, they are beautiful.

Hay quien piensa que se deberían quemar los cuadros de Tapies, no estoy de acuerdo, creo que mejor sería lavarlos bien con lejía y dárselos a algún pintor de verdad para que cree arte. Eso es la esencia del reciclaje.

One of the best videos regarding Tapies' work ever made! It expresses my sentiments perfectly...and I struggled with his work as a graduate student in art - working both in art-making and as a nurse + working in science. Gracias !
