  • Really, Sir Ron is probably impervious to mental torture. I mean, if you stuck him in a dark room with no light, totally alone, for days on end, he would just end up making "Let's Play Rock Paper Scissors Against Myself".

    And it would be the funniest Let's Play ever made.

    And he would win fame and fortune and go on to tour with the two remaining Beatles and save the world from an impending koala-based Armageddon, whilst wearing lederhosen made entirely out of lentils.

    But only on Tuesdays.

  • Yeah. I never have been able to fix that glitch. And believe you me, I've tried lots of recommended methods.

  • Believe it or not. I actually fixed that glitch a while ago after asking about it. Turns out it was a problem with the FG & BG Values. Truth.

    Also, I often pre-plan my levels, typically to have some sort of style to follow. So, yeah, I DO have an idea of what I'm doing.

  • Wrong. As I already said, I fixed it a long time ago, shortly after this was Let's Played. It was the FG & BG Values, not the sprite count.

  • I don't think we're talking about the same subject. Yes there are excessive sprites in the level. But that wasn't the subject of my previous comment here. I was talking about the glitched graphics that occur if one uses the pipe.

  • A "liar"? No... he was just incorrect. Don't be a biased, obsessive fanboy. I doubt Ron would appreciate that, especially considering that Ron dislikes swearing.

  • I actually looked into Lunar Magic (the Super Mario World editor) myself and sagacious03 is correct.

    Specific sprites only work with specific foreground/background values.

    I know because I wanted to create a "haunted forest"-level and needed to apply the foreground-values of the ghost house to the forest tileset to make sure the ghosts wouldn't glitch.

    Too many sprites slow the game down, but they have nothing to to with gltiching graphics.
