Okay, I'm past the lack of commentary...
OSX is great, it's also nailed shut and while it can be opened up, I'm a bigger fan of the philosophy behind Open Source in general. I have a few macs, because I like the hardware and occasionally use OSX. But all my machines non-macs included run Ubuntu (or another distro) 95%+ of the time.
@zhoulingyu I haven't tried in a long time.. Last time I changed mouse themes, it was a fairly trivial process, but it did involve the command line.. Google is your friend!
i think you might need to reinstall the setting from the package manager that might help (like you would install screen saver but for themes.)

I don't have such problem on my hp cq 45. I'm also running x64 ubuntu 10.04. The bug I have is that I can not change mouse themes. Any ideas?
