  • i have a voodoo doll and ive been riding it for about 2 months now. Ive noticed there is a crack running along one of the levels of the front-right wheelwells. Can anyone tell me how to fix this and maybe prevent it in the future?

  • can you also pm me comet voodoo doll vs grease shark !?!

  • Im thinking of getting the voodoo or the grese shark? please reply

  • @THEkdude420

    pm'd you

  • hey mate, for a comet voodoo doll d2 do you think that calibre 854 mm trucks will fit fine for downhill, cause i want a board that i can race in big competions like maryhill. and wha are your reccomended wheel for racing but can also be capeable to do sliding to slow me down or take me round a corner alive! please reply thnx mate keep shredding!

  • @longboardingletgo

uh, your comment has so many erros... do you mean caliber 44's or bear 852's? Those are good downhill trucks and white cannibals are rad for that. 72mm78a

  • Anchor man!!!!

  • started paying more attention to anchor man

  • Please respond

Do you think the voodoo d2 will do ok whiteout wheel bite with 81mm race forms with gullwing stalkers or should I just get 77mm race forms

  • @ishansmnt

what are you trying to do? you will not need wheels that big for anything besides like maryhill.

  • @ishansmnt 81mm wheels will not fit the max is 72mm

  • @ishansmnt unless you enjoy wheelbite

  • One more thing. When setup with the long wheelbase about how fast can you take the doll before it gets twitchy and shaky

  • @theasianpearexpress

as long as you are confident you can take it hoever fast you want.

  • Tons *of* 180's my bad

  • Hey I just have a few quick questions skatedivona!

Did you get the asymmetrical doll? If so how did/do you like the rear concave?

With the Paris 195 would you describe the ride sloppy or twitchy at all?

    Were the biltins worth it?

How much time would I have with the abec 11 freerides?

    I'm 145lbs

    5'11

    General style: tons or 180's

    Thanks!

  • @theasianpearexpress

    In order..

Yes, the rear concave is great.

They're less twitchy than 180s. Same slop as a regular cast truck, nothing too bad.

    Yes, Biltins are worth it.

Depending on the duro you get the lifetime will vary, with my experience 78a is the most controlled, 81a lasts the longest though at around a week of HARD freeriding. If you're just doing 180s and stuff and dont hold them out then the wheels will last a lot longer.

  • will i get wheel bite with the 2011 voodoo doll ( which has a wheel base of 26-28.5" ) with 76mm zombie hawgs?

  • @maxrocks99

possibly with the 76mm's. what size trucks

  • i seriously cant find that deck design anywhere. please help, i dont like the other deck designs for the comet voodoo!!

  • @sam14878

    this is the old graphic.

  • man ur not pumped at all when i get new boards i usually piss my pants then dry hump the fuking box

  • Wil Ferrel the boss! And nice longboard btw!

  • haha... the sound when u lift it up!! XD

  • is it a nice DH board?

  • Does this have a lot of concaves?

  • abec free rides are the shit,

  • I didn't pay attention to you at all, I was watching Anchor Man the whole time.

  • how long did it take for your wheels to get broken in?

  • @SoCalLongboarders

    three or four big slides.

  • Hell yeah! I get mine today!

  • The tv distracted me until the last few seconds the video ended, anyways ... nice board dude

  • My friends are getting me a belly racer for my up coming birthday. How's it compare to this?

  • @monkieboi88 octane sport has a compares them together in a video

  • @monkieboi88 quite simalar very good boards both of them the bellyracers longer tho but very cool board

  • you stay classy San Diego

  • Are the freerides side set?

  • How would you compare this and the Black Dog Pussy Gato? Because I have an extra set of trucks and s9 70mm 78a wheels with abec 7 bearings and Im looking at putting together a board for downhill and some crusing cause I just got a Tan Tien (awesome board) but I'm not gonna take that everywhere cuz if it gets stolen I'm screwd haha.

  • @Duanka007

i dont have a pussy gato. i dont really like it and neither do any of my friends. the best boards from black dog are the shallow drop and the butterfly. i can do a compare with a shallow drop but as for right now i dont have access to any other boards

  • @skatedivona ok i was just wonderin because Motionboardshop gave a positive review on it. So do you like the voodoo doll more than the shallow drop?

  • @Duanka007

Yeah but theyre too different to compare. If your looking at the shallow drop then compare its reviews to reviews on the landyachtz switch and the rayne nemesis, those are the closest boards which are like the shallow drop.

The voodoo doll is more like the butterfly because they're both top mounts with spoon rocker.

I'll make a video later today which should be uploaded by tomorrow. It should clarify things top mount wise. I think it'll be between the switch, voodoo doll, and elise

  • @skatedivona ok thanks. :D sounds awesome

  • Oh and for the wheels, I want a nice smooth and controlled slide also. Thanks!

  • @FallMediaProductions

the blue race forms and the 81a abec 11 freerides have the same consistancy. the raceforms are centerset though so they last a bit longer. either one will do though. they are awesome

  • @skatedivona Alright I think i'll go with the S9's because they're cheaper and they last longer, thanks!

  • What size hardware did you get or would you recommend for the Doll? And, would you recommend the Abec 11 Freerides (72mm) or the Sector 9 Race formula 70mm 78a for some freeride, dh, and cruising? Other suggestions would be cool to, thanks!

  • what do you suggest as a good freeride wheel?

  • @SuperJman37

abec 11 freerides, sector 9 centerset 70mm race formulas, metro motion wheels, those are all very good ones.

  • @skatedivona thanks

  • @hoiz28 It had a small delam in it i fixed with a clamp and wood glue.

  • i cant wait i have my voodoo doll sitting in front of me right now the mailman just dropped it of:) . sadly ihave to wait 6 more days till i can open it :(

  • YEAH Ron Burgendy !!!!!

  • @skatedivona most excellent.

  • I just grabbed one off Silverfish for $50. Good decision or not?

  • @MidNCSkate

    very good

  • ive been wondering why the comet voodoo doll is soo stable and great for downhill even though its a topmount and not a drop down board. but i guess that doesnt matter with this board

  • @Duanka007

top mounts are tricky to learn to DH on but once you learn, they have the best control because your on top of the board, it gives you more leverage

  • @skatedivona yeah, i guess that makes sense

  • do you recommend abec 11 freeride 72mm 81a over 86a stims?

  • @chrisobrieen

yes, the 86a stims are for people who cant get their board to slide at all with normal wheels. your slides will be smoother and more controlled with softer wheels

  • My friend is being a dildo and not giving me his 195s which we doesn't even ride... Stupid dildo...

  • @monkieboi88 wow, he sounds more dildo-ish than the dildo he uses every night :L

  • @kinghaul95 win

  • thinking about getting the 195's for a downhill board, do you like them in that aspect?

  • @cro0zfl3xd3x

theyre the best. Super stable, and yet easily freeridable

  • Come ONN now man, you get that beautiful board and let THEM have all the fun setting it up! Build her yourself you jack-head!

  • anchor man win!

  • Is that a Comet Voodoo D2?

  • @ruig

    comet voodoo doll asymmetrical

    paris 195's

    abec 11 freerides

    venom bushings.

  • would the paris 195s be good for freeriding or should i just stick with the 180?i kinda want a good freeride,dh truck...

  • @naypaulm

i love the 195s even more than i did my 180s. but its all personal preference. you may like the 180s more

  • whats the diff between retro freerides and abec 11

  • @LLAPZable

    different formula

retros are harder to slide cause they uset the relfex formula. the other ones, the abec 11's. are classic formula. big thane, slides well.

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha anchor man

  • haha youve unboxed so many boards you dont look to excited. haha nice video and board im getting a voodoo to

  • @GlueStickMedia

that board is soo sick. you will love it. i assure you of that

  • what made you choose the abec 11 wheels over otangs? just wondering

  • @brandoncormac

i wanted a change. i love otangs to death but the off set core and the amount of drifting i do wasnt for me. the otangs got flat spotted way too easily. and theyre 51 dollars. abecs are 40. when you go through wheels like every 3 weeks, money matters. right now though i have on sector 9 race formulas 70mm78a. the center set ones. theyre the cleanest urethane compound ive ever ridden on. they thane is consistant, sticky on turns, and drifty when you need it to be.

  • How do the paris 195s compared to paris 180s for downhill?

  • @ieatnewbs117

i love them way more. still 180s are comfy as hell though. 195's are just where its at

  • @skatedivona i have 180s on my dervish now. figuring out if i should buy paris 195s or another brand. Do your 195s feel super comfy?

  • @ieatnewbs117

    yes

  • will i get wheels bite with 75 mm wheels?

  • hey can you please do a review for the voodoo doll cuz i think i want to get it. thanks dude.

    -Jimmy

  • any idea where i could pick up paris 195 hangers? i dont wana go buy a whole set of trucks

  • did you get the symmetrical Vodoo doll, or the asymmetrical?

  • @maxrocks99

    asymmetrical.

  • im sorry what to busy watching anchor man

  • is this board good for downhill?

  • @maxrocks99

    extremly good. and for freeriding

  • how much concave does the comet have?

  • @Flaksism

    quite a bit

  • @skatedivona

    good

    thanks

  • Would you prefer paris or randals for freeriding?

  • @FckedUpFingers

heres a little thing on how i feel

    paris195's > Randal 180's > Paris 180's

  • @cj7755

  • That looks like my cousins old 80's Nash Skate Board, when i road that board I wanted be be a skateboarder, we used to have these RC Cola plastic like 15in boards that would bend in the middle if you stepped on it, I was an 80's kid!

  • @1thess523

Hey man making it happen back in the day is what got skateboarding and longboarding to what it is today. Props to you for that

  • Awesome board man, nice set up. ps* I have those same adidas shorts hahaha

  • comet skateboards = warp vortex

  • how is it??

  • @wasabiman17

it is amazing. standies last forever with these practically side set wheels. for my derv i have 84a grippins. i should have got 81a, they slide so much easier.

  • i imagined u wit short blond hair and no glasses boy was i off
