I just watched this show on the ABC in Australia, and I was seriously under the impression throughout the whole thing that it was a mockumentary. I'm not joking, I came on to the net just to confirm, but oh my it appears that it was real. LOL, that's the saddest thing that I've ever seen if they were actually serious. It was a dune buggy with a parachute! Haha. You couldn't have scripted this any better. Satire at it's finest, intentional or not. They caught the ferry, hahahahahaa.

I wonder who sponsored these bumbling idiots. In the first place the car has never been tested before they took off on this expedition. The wing is obviously too small for the car or the engine power not enough for the weight it is supposed to lift. In my opinion the expedition was a total failure.

@bunjit1 if they said they were on a testing flight, to test the flying car under different flying conditions it would have made sense but they sold the idea as if they were going to fly the car most of the way. Look how embarrassed they were at the news conference at the start of the trip. I can see why the CAA in England didn't give them the go ahead to fly since they couldn't prove in time they can fly safe.
