heh after seeing your message I decided to go on a google quest to find out the credits for Motorcycle Diaries and almost the complete soundtrack was composed by Gustavo Santaolalla, so I see where you find the similarity and although this specific sample is not from the movie I am tempted to sample some of the stuff on the sound track, not to mention it looks like a really good movie. Good ear though :]

im not familiar with the software your using. wasnt sure if the song was already chopped. just heard the chords was like "that sounds like.." but yeah. that movie is good and theres a lot of potential on that soundtrack for good chops.

you know i gotta agree with the last dude comment but not entirely .you got a great guitar sample but thous drums,theyre to mainstream for that classy guitar sample,try getting some live drums samples or somthing more mellow.but dont get me wrong the sounds are good but the combination dont fit

yeah FL, is a great and simple software, very useful and powerful if you get the hang of it. and for an mpc you basicly just need samples and speakers, studio monitors preferably, and although not needed a turntable would be nice. I suggest you start off with software, get the hang of it first then move on to hardware.

Studio monitors are speakers with more defined frequenzies,turntables varies in prices, I've seend them from 25 - 300 dollars, the best ones are Techniques IMO, I have a Technics SL-1200 and don't use it b/c of lack of space. The Mpc is not at all difficult, especially if you do alot of research and if you upgrade to the unofficial JJ OS,better than Akai's OS. The time it'll take you to get used to it will depend on you, I got the hang of it, in like a day, but I still need much to learn.

i see. so mpc 'bout 450 turntable that U have about 200, speakers i think no more than 100 so its not so bad ;). after U make Ur beat U mix it on pc?? or sth? and all those sheets (mpc, turntable) have connection by usb cable right? any software to mpc / turn??

Its cool, i like to help. well the turntable you don't really have to spend that much. those are just extimated ranges.. and monitors are expensive. but you can get some half decent ones for about 250. not needed, but would be nice. turntable you connect with audio line, mpc usb and midi, aswell as keyboards or anyother hardware.. and yes you can use software, to mix, or even sequence.

Guy!! Forget all that shit!! It's not necessary. All you need is Reason 4, Some Reason Refills (Pianos, Electric Bass, Drum Kits 2, and Abbey Road Keyboards), and a Midi Keyboard (M-Audio or something). Obviously you need a PC too.

Reason is an amazingly easy program to use and it sounds Amazing. Buy it.
