@apollonas101 wow, all that rage rant and you're still wrong...I am 25 and almost have read ALL of the Flash Comics except the original #1 and 2. Superman could never beat the flash. The man of steel can't touch something that can move through solid objects, or runs faster while stealing speed. powers are limited, speed is not. last time I checked in the animation, Wally saved all the Justice leagues asses when Brainiac/lex fought.

@apollonas101 I am a fan of the Flash too, but be serious, the way superman was portrayed is invincible to everything but speed. he is quick but not fast enough to catch the flash. true if he hits the flash he could kill him, but the flash can move through objects, and steal speed. theres NO way superman would win.

DC also said Superman can do anything when saving someone is on the line,...and in Smallville season 6, episode justice..Clark in fact has to become faster than Flash to save his life''.....Flash i believe is faster without doubt...but when and if he has to...Superman can become faster!!!

THEY NEVER COMPARE their own characters. the original 7 were said to be powerful in their own way, but even Batman can take down superman, this is stated in the comics and shows as well. there IS NO strongest character in DC just like MARVEL. it takes the realism and action out of the show.

He is not "the best plain and simple". he is like the first exploited superhero. he was made to be the icon and main character but the reason why the other thousands of heroes were created is because he fails at most tasks. its a team not a singlular heroic act dude. batman has just as many exploitations as supes, as so do the other original 7. Superman is just the poster boy because he was created first. he's only an icon because of timing.

I have his whose series of animations, and movies along with the original show and the dates far surpass superman. they both hit the stop after the justice league was formed yet the batman franchise is still in the making. the comics are the same legnth, the sales are the same, the media of course goes to batman as superman has ended media/series makings. what movies are coming out are irrelevant at the moment kid
