If you're going to go into the futility of it's gameplay (ie "it has no set goal"), the same cynicism can be applied to just about everything else in life, including life itself (that is to say, life itself has no set goals, only personally attributed ones, just like Minecraft).

That all said, I much rather play life than play Minecraft, but that's subjective and surely varies from person to person. =P

I got a few ideas, so bear with me.

Health/hunger status for employees that is evenly matched with time and work to balance it and not make it much of a bother (Animals and other things they could make food out of maybe?)

A smelter for ore, because having a stack instantly turning into 4 parts is kind of weird, I would suggest a wood-fuelled smelter that turns the ore into ingots or bricks as presented in the video.

A medical camp, for when (as you said) monsters attack and they get hurt.

@rapsis2x2 A voxel is a pixel with volume. It moves through space on a voxel-based grid. These graphics are clearly polygonal.

The game devs are using this term because it's trendy and marketable. If you can prove me wrong go ahead.

Also I'm studying 3D Computer Modeling and Visualisation, so I think I know what voxels are.

Just a quick suggestion (although I know I'm already gonna be buying this game in future) but if you're not already (or have already) worked on a system that you can have a pre-set shape, like maybe a wall or doorway made of lots of different blocks, so you don't spend lots of time placing each invidual block personally - you only have to set it out once.

@nsvvone Although, to be fair, from what I've just researched about Voxelaria and LouD, they both have the minecraft aspect but stray from the Voxel aspect (to an extent).

This game is still very restrained to the Voxel aspect, which is what I was bringing up in the first place.
