The pianist is good and she sounds good too, however, the audience is treating both of them like they are in the background. Unfortunately, this happens too often.
You really have to have your ego in check for this sort of thing
This woman is just now being recognized for the great talent she always was. She was originally given classic Motown to sing and she did beautifully, but she was always far ahead of her time and when her second album failed (it was a pop album and she was never a pop singer) they just sort of let left her behind. We are just now realizing what a great singer and song stylist she was. She was brilliant.
Chris never sounded better. What a beautiful and gracious lady she is! I hope we see a new album by this dynamic woman! Her voice and phrasing is brilliant. Thanks for posting this!
This tune was first recorded by Johnny Mathis in the late fifties early sixties. It was the "B" side of a 45rpm recording, One of his big hits "WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL". I think it's the greatest jazz/blues tune ever and lends itself best to piano accompaniment.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
She's a mediocre, commonplace vocalist.
Impressive to those who are impressed by mediocrity.

Aa always Miss Clark is a consumate perfomer sounding even better now than she did in the 1960's and 70's and she was brilliant then.
