I've listened to Glen Beck since I was a young child. I remember hearing him before he went national in Atlanta. He's just entertainment. Just like a Sean Hannity or a Michael Savage, he's able to gain support because he entertains people, not necessarily because he actually has logical arguments. Yeah, it's a shame.

Be careful of "strict constuction" -- learn how it was used. Strict constuction prevented very popular labor laws like child labor, safety laws. No, I haven't read that book. Seems pretty hypocritical of him to cite polls when he knows it's bullshit. That makes him even worse. You can forgive the ignorant, because they just don't know. But if they know, and they still go through with that kind of deception, then that's just unforgivable. Good that he doesn't consider himself a journalist, but that doesn't get him off the hook, because people watch him, and take what he says to heart, unfortunately.

They certainly were not libertarian. They believed in freedom but knew that it had some reasonable limits. I've listened to Glen Beck since I was a young child. I remember hearing him before he went national in Atlanta. He's just entertainment. Just like a Sean Hannity or a Michael Savage, he's able to gain support because he entertains people, not necessarily because he actually has logical arguments. Yeah, it's a shame.

Just a complete waste of time. So what if 2% of people support Ron Paul, so what if 99% of people support Ron Paul, it doesn't change whether or not you should vote for him. What should matter is what you believe in.

Be careful of "strict constuction" -- learn how it was used. Strict constuction prevented very popular labor laws like child labor, safety laws. Strict construction folk dominated USSC then, ruled we cant even PASS LAWS about labor rights, and struck those laws down, again and again, cause labor rights arent in constitution. By Ron's logic, all those laws would be void - labor, safety, pollution, etc. Its a very slippery slope. It might sound nice now - be very careful. LEARN HISTORY please.

I do think he can be a butt but I also think it can be a good thing, pressure will bring out what we need to see in these participants in the government. Monetary issues are never discussed in American politics Dr Paul is a student of monetary issues and has been waring US about the issues of today for years but the media has avoided him and the topic. He said he would allow the contitutional way of dealing with these kinds of issues up to the states. Other comments that Beck makes about Dr. Paul are not backed up and are most likely taken out of context or at best half truths. Do your own research on Ron Paul and you'll know exactly what he stands for. We all know what fearmongering Beck stands for.
