  • mr smooth, bassman extrodinare, wayman's protege'

  • Stanley Clarke's music takes the listener to a peaceful and beautiful place. That is the power Clarke possesses--to transform his audience.

  • Yep this was a really good sound track especially for one in the early 90's. But stanley does excellent music my fav is cruising but this is rite their with, and i guess its obvious if a virgin is saying it would be a good sexual experience to have sex to this~

  • This song is NOT on the album cover displayed in the video.... just so the viewers know.

  • I'm a virgin, but this is impeccable music to have sex to (in the good way, of course). I love funk/jazz fusion.

  • How I got to like this track and album. I found this album in cassette format by the side of my car in the pouring rain.

  • I been bangin this for like 3 days straight.

  • This is such a gorgeous song and one of my favorites by Stanley.

  • My bad. I thought this song was on the self titled "Stanley Clarke", but it ain't. A shorter version is on the CD "At The Movies".

  • He also plays this song on the "Passenger 57" soundtrack. I think "Deja's Theme sounds similar to this one. Not certain but worth checking out.

  • Beautiful!

  • man...this song was remade from his 1984 album Time exposure. Look heaven sent you.

  • What a beautiful tune, not enough O O O "S in smooth for this one, Way to go Stanley, Love it

  • This song sounds just like a fine black woman.

  • the good sound best area zen attitude

  • OK, I'm still not going to let anyone call you "daddy".

    That just ruins tha song.

You listen to your opinions or tha song every chance you get?

  • @scrogg67 i could care less what you say of what you think of me.and who are you to tell people what to call me?also,i don't care what you think of what i say or what i don't say ruins any kind of music you or i listens to.cause right now everything you say or give your opinion about me offends me in every way.

  • @bigblackdaddy1958 Just be quiet and listen to the song man.

  • and i play music too

  • that comment is for you scrogg67

  • you have a right to your opinion, and i have a right to mine.i listen to it every chance i get.and i don't care what the hell you think, say or otherwise,OK

  • with this song,i could picture myself sitting in front of the fireplace and sippin on a glass of red wine

  • @bigblackdaddy1958 stfu we dont want to picture that u wierdo. just let us listen to tha song.

  • A friend and I ( Longineau Parsons) had the chance to play with Stanley 1981, great musician. Smooth as silk. The brother can lay down some nice charts also.

  • Clarke was the musical arranger for Shalamar. If you remember their hit This is for The Lover in You - you'll recognize the chorus here in Lisa.

  • It was in the movie - very briefly after the scene where W.Snipes relives his girlie getting shot in the robbery and he at his house alone.

  • Just simply pure and soulful jazz at its best. Especially, it was made for a woman to cherish. For her name is ROYALTY!

  • Very smooth song, I love going to sleep at night with this song playing..this is also on the passenger57 soundtrack, very relaxing

  • ya, its on the passenger57 soundtrack.....BUt I swear it never appears in the movie?

  • Yes you are right! that was the only downfall. They could at least had this song playing during some sceans in the movie.

I didn't even know this was on the soundtrack until i was listening to the jazz station and when the song finished the DJ said this was on the passenger57 soundtrack.

    One of my favorites songs!

  • this and "cruise'n" are great tunes.

I am not really very familiar with jazz....If I really like this sound, do you have anything else you could reccomend.

Another song I thought was very cool was "slow ride" by kim waters

  • Yes crusin is one of my favs also.....there's a smooth jazz song called shine by paul hardcastle, desire by paul hardcastle, and another favorite of mine is tokyo blue by najee, very relaxing music..please look for those songs
