Funny how wrestling was back then. Bill Watts owned a part of Georgia Championship Wrestling. This is why you see Gordon Solie at the end. Wrestling 2 defeated Ernie Ladd in Atlanta Feb of 1979, for the North American title.
Wrestling 2 was so over that Georgia continued to show his matches in Mid South.
This match was held in Shreveport, La.
Mr. Wrestling 2 would come into Atlanta to defend the title.

Boyer/Bowyer/Boyette was one of the most legitimate athletes in pro wrestling. He earned a spot on the 1964 Olympic team in judo.
