  • God bless Hank , may his tribe increass

  • Although I don't agree with Hank 100 percent, I find his evaluation of huckster Bentley valid. These charlatans use crowd dynamics, theatrics, music, and audiance plants to pull off their acts.

  • I support Hank and I hope that he continues on his walk with the Lord. I love listening to people who love the Lord and His word.

  • I can understand and see Hank 'sview on this issue now I do not think that because Todd Bentley is a charlatan that we should stop believing in the supernatural. I came to the Lord because of the supernatural. I still remember when I was a teenager and as I was in my home I heard a voice that said I needed to be "saved". I was so confused. I had never heard of being "saved" and so I said "saved from what?" and the voice said "from hell". I cried and at that moment I asked God to save me.

  • my Bible study leader believes in guys like Benny Hinn....oh well, i already tried speaking to her.

  • I'd be finding a new bible study leader. How can she truly lead a bible study when she believes in those who deceive others and grotesquely pervert the Gospel?

  • If your Bible teacher is a woman, she shouldn't even be teaching, at least not in a church context.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. (1Ti 2:12 )

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law. (1Co 14:34)

  • @GraceAbondante tell me when did Phillips daughters prophecy? book of Acts

  • Hi@buzzobug

I understand your question and I wouldn't for one moment want to set up either legalism or laxism in the Church of Jesus Christ. There is already too much of both. We need to strike a balance and I think only the Spirit of God can help us do that with the Word of God. I cited Paul in 1 Tim and 1 Cor which are positive apostolic commands. I don't think that bringing up the fact of Philip's daughter prophesying can annul that. I would view the Acts passage in light of th eother two.

  • @GraceAbondante . i somewhat agree with you. But the church is to also give room for all who want to be involved should be able to. By that i mean i don,t want to one day after i croak and there i am before God and all i can say is that each week i sat in a chair at church. Ha to me that is not normal Christianity. Must give room for Spiritual gifts to be given. in my opinion the man is the be pastor. but who am i to say. No body listens to me in church , i am a nobody i think.

  • @buzzobug The Spirit gives the gifts to whomever he wants in the body, granted. But God is also a God of order as in all the congregation of the saints. The young are also to submit to the elders. Plus don't forget, pastor is a gift like evangelist and teacher, not a title to lord it over the flock. Ideeally, an New Testament church has many elders overseeing the order and the gifts. This is apostolic order found in the New Testament. A lot of what goes by as spiritual is actually soulish.

  • @GraceAbondante , Yes God is also the God of order. If you read 1st corinthians, chapter 12, verse 7, where it says about "the manifestion of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. the manifestion has the idea of "dancing hand of God" Latin. Which is like, {think}. so in order --- say the Pastor gives his message, there should not be somebody speaking out in Prophecy then or tongues or something like that. as it is out of order.

  • @buzzobug and so at that time God might when it is time say, so to speak, it is now your time to give your word. in order. That person might have a word of knowledge about some body having a certain phy condition that God might heal or something like that. All things are to be done it says. All things , and in order. Just as All can prophecy it says and all means all. it is when the church is gathered that all is to happen. and in order.

  • Even my 11 year old daughter laughed at this nonsense.

  • Children r often able 2 c truth better than adults who have lost objectivity. Hard 4 Hank 2 face criticism as he appears "harsh" 2ward others. Hank is likewise imperfect.. in this case his warnings r intended 2 help all of us. Now in Sept 08 it's come out that T.Bentley has been negligent in his home/ married life. Again when ur given public platform u must face scrutiny even when uncomfortable. Let's b thinking Christians!!!

  • Matthew 16 chapter, Jesus says "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign;" We are not to SEEK AFTER signs and wonders, as 1 Peter 2:2 says, we are to desire the sincere milk of the word. Ephesians 4:14

Then we will no longer be little children, tossed like waves and blown about by every wind of doctrine, by people's trickery, or by clever strategies that would lead us astray.

  • Well said!

    God bless

  • @jeanetteaw , have you read 1st Corinthians, chapters 12-14, and see what it says. Does it not say we are to desire spiritual gifts. do you know what that word in the Greek means. {desire?] means like to lust after. the church needs spiritual gifts.

  • Where are the death certificates? or the legal documentations verified by, educated and certified doctors, who pronounced those who died, were indeed dead?

  • You are not supposed to ask hard questions. It gets far too complicated. (jk).

  • LOL! O' my bad.

  • Sadly, Hank will be judged in the same manner that is is judging... and no minister in the world could stand up under his level of scrutiny.

    Listen to the real testimonies

  • Bentley doesn't even preach the bible. He is a complete charlatan. I have no doubt the reason he laughs so much from stage is because he is laughing at the stupidity of those that believe him.

  • Oh my gosh, lol!!!

  • """"Just by the way you talk about Bentley, Hank, you don't have a deep walk with Christ"""

And because you accept Bentley you do have a deep walk? please!

Throughout scripture we are warned of false christs (false anointed ones),

anyone exposing them is doing no wrong. You think a deep walk with Christ means to not expose the works of darkness? Then Paul, Peter, Timothy, Matt/Mark Luke/John/Jude/Titus etc are all wrong because each one warned of false teachers and false 'anointed ones'

  • ""But Hank, who's moving in the anointing?""

What? You must have been reading too many Benny Hinn books, please read scripture instead. All believers walk under the anointing of Christ ('Christ' means anointed one, HE is the anointed one whom we abide in). Its for all believers, not just for a elite few (1Jo 2:27).

  • But Hank, who's moving in the anointing? Who's seeing thousands healed? THe spiritual cyanide is coming from Hank.

Just by the way you talk about Bentley, Hank, you don't have a deep walk with Christ. Its sad, you do a lot of critizing, but not a lot of deliverance.
