aaaaaah...this video was one of my favorites like, ten years ago. same with the song. definitely a nostalgia-burner, but frankly i can't see why i ever liked it in the first place - the guy's voice is annoying as sin, and the bass player overplays EVERYTHING in my opinion. the video's still pretty cool though, you can tell care went into it.

@heymynameisdave thanks. it was motion control. we built two sets for the life story, and chris was filmed in front of a green screen (except for the initial walk up that he does). not sure if that answers your questions, but we've given longer answers on a few DVD commentary tracks that also include behind the scenes footage where you can see the set, rig, etc.
