Nobody got struck by lighting and it wasnt cold, some hail. AWESOME DAY THERE, YOU GUYS WERE TREATED TO A AWESOME DISPLAY OF NATURE. You lucked out and the weather didnt ruin the view. If anyone goes here, try to go up to the right of Kearsarge Pass to Mt. Gould, its about a 45 minute scramble up the scree slash boulders you get a better 360 view of your soundings.
@saltytsp, although it was a little miserable at times, I take fond memories away. I mark it as a special trip. The guy in the white shirt--it was his first time. What a first time! :-) You're right about Mt. Gould. 13,000 ft. Great view. But now when the weather's like that. :-) :-) Thanks for your comment.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to show the beauty of the Sierras. All the best.

@nak4651, you are welcome. Thanks for you comment. Just got back from Lake Basin, near Taboose Pass, over Cartridge Pass. Another lovely spot.
