I was a driller for 7 years and the patch died down recently. I now work for an oilfield maint... outfit and this is one of the jobs that we do.. I hate it ,,, I work around drilling rigs and workover rigs all day and I honestly am embarrased sucking out these fuckin pits,,,,,but it is all right being around the rigs...better than being home\
looks more like crude....water based muds tend to have the oil on top.unlike invert which will dissolve the oil more or less...pretty shitty-ass work, the monkey suits would be better than plain ol' coveys....and they are shit-suckers...seeing how they are all wearing the same "outfits"...they must all be shit-suckers!!....don't forget the shit-pits boys!!

used to do this job cleaning out mud tanks. vac truck and shovel and four guys if you were lucky. most of the time only 2 of us. it usually took 24 hrs. to clean them. no break till you were done.then it was always deisel mud or what you would call invert. fuf fun

used to do this job cleaning out mud tanks. vac truck and shovel and four guys if you were lucky. most of the time only 2 of us. it usually took 24 hrs. to clean them. no break till you were done.then it was always deisel mud or what you would call invert. fuf fun

Thats not bad at all, you should get in a 225 foot diameter diesel tank and clean it out. Or clean out the same sized tank but gasoline with a 3 foot floating internal roof. Sucking crude from a pit is pie my friend!
