  • How lucky you are you got to see this lovely, calm animal in the wild! They are so adorable!

  • pero que carajo es esto

  • I came for the capybara. I stayed for the titties

  • Look at them big ol titties!

    XD

  • i guess im going to eat 1 of those capibaras,i wil make it with abocado salad n cream whit a picante sauce n alot of lemons... GRRRRR

  • I love capybaras they are so cute. In certain states in the US a person can get a license to own some as an exotic pet but they are well loved. No one would eat them hear in the US, that's gross.

  • I love capybaras too my friend but eating capybara for the locals in the wild is like eating a pig only people in remoted places and indians eat them well indians eat all kind of animals but they are not such predetors like we are they only hunt to eat they do not keep food like us tolerance my friend is what we have to travel with

  • @kannon9 for a lot of people eating cows is gross you cunt. Stop being such an ignorant american cunt. yank piece of shit, you are gross.

  • i hope capybarras become a popular pet. some do keep them as pets. they are sweet and are easily trained.

  • yes I have heard they have them as pets but whem they grow they get wild they tent to attack people I wonder why I am always askijng who have got one I always received same aswert how rude they got to be

  • is that why they get spayed and neutered?

  • I have not heard about them being spayed about them being neutered well people eat them is good they reproduce so fast like any other rodent they are supost to be protected but who is going to tell an indian not to eat a capybara I had to look for the words in the dictionary hahahahahaah

  • Excelente! Gran info!

  • the narrator is hot

  • capybara is a rodent and is tooooooo biggggggggggggggggg

  • a capybara is a large guinea pig not a rat

  • That's amazing, a very big rat at that, in australia they would only grow to about 20cm max without tail, but they are an introduced animal here

  • rweally do you have capybaras in australia that is not a bad idea they lovely creatures is a cute biggggggggggggggggg rattttttttttttttttttttt

  • No not Capybaras, maybe in a zoo, ive never seen one, only the common rat lives here.

Can you keep Capybaras as pets?

  • Hi just a question... so these are rodents? I was wondering if we could take the sperms and inseminate it to a normal house rodent.. would that be feasible? they belong to a same family of rodents... what do you think? or any biologist here, animal expert? please help my query. thank you

  • well this is a very interesting commentary yes they are rodents , well it is unlike for a rat to keep on in the belly a rodent as big as a capybara, well doing an insemination that can be done nobody have even think about it yet my uncle works in a lab he is a biologist scientific, they just work in finding cures for diseases like chaga ,lesmaniasis Sorry if I did not help much

  • Interesting question my firend but no this would not really be possible. For two animals to make fertile offspring they have to be of the same species, not just the same family. Humans are in the same family as apes but we cannot reproduce together!

  • I would think it highly unlikely that such a hybrid would be possible. They are more closely related to Guinea Pigs than Rats, and even they are quite different to the Capybara in many ways (not just size).

  • very cool response, but if I have the right tools I might try one :) it's just that I was amazed of how wolves are mated with domestic dogs, they belong to same family but not quite related species :) but it was a good outcome without any abnormalities. This project is worth trying... not to mention that these capybaras are so cute ;) thanks for the insight.

  • Hello, Terminex?

Yes, we have a rat problem here.

    A very BIG rat problem.

    hahahaha

  • hahahahaha that will be my new joke for tourist Tom you should see their faces when they see a capybara on the wild jejeejejejej really good

  • The world's biggest hamsters. LOL

They're just another one of God's creatures. :-)

  • yes so trueh Tom they do things just like a hamster or a rat I was thinking about having one as a pet but the smell would bring rats to my house or my cat may atack it , they can also eat everything in my house just like a rat I do not like rats that much capybaras I love them

  • thank you for the reply. BTW I hope if you have time please, my favor, ask your uncle if that's possible :) BTW you mentioned about the smell of capybaras right? so how was it? do these giant rats stink? I hope they don't bite man. Nice work :)

  • Cats and small rodents usually do not get along.

The smell of rodents also brings cats.

  • lol

  • jaja no entiendo lo q dices, hace falta la traduccion de tu "inglish" a el Ingles para poder comprender .... (= saludos

  • will it bite is a hudge rat

  • sorry I took so long yes it will bite if is wild if is not I will bite too

  • great 5 5 5

  • COOL STUFF INGRID

  • Que lindo los chiguires! Excelente como siempre, Ingrid...

  • gracias amigo que bien que te haya gustado

  • we should be showing more care, love and affection towards the Giant Panda. It is far more rare, and Capybaras do not need to be conservated or even documented, owing to the fact that their population is not dwindling.

  • well you are right, the cocodrile of orinoco is going that way only 200 to 700 animals life in the wild and that was a study made in 1992 they are not subspecies I really appreciate to had contact with one they are beautiful and strong I feel angry sad desperate cocodrilos survive 200 millions years even the dinosaurs died and now we are killing them only 1000 pandas in the world

  • lol those things are awesome

  • I am glad you like them they are cute

  • 25 seconds. Sweeeeet

  • lmfao

  • haahah your comentary is sweet too

  • No WAY! I would be running the other way..

    Pººhßear

  • hahahahaaha do not be chicken my dear wendy

  • would it not attack if u got to close to it,

    like the hippo

  • wild ones would may bite if you get the opportunity to get close they are so good at disappearing into the water or bush and fast but they would not attack you like a hippo people keep them like pets they get used to people just like another rodents very intersting question
