yep. I am another victim of laser vision surgery. The last two years have been hell. Severe dry eyes. Night vision destroyed. CAreer lost. Severe depression for about a year. Dont get this bullshit surgery. The unethical doctors won't properly screen you. They have NO accountability. None.

Well, too bad for you. I got my eyes done 2006, it went well. There was a little pain after the painkillers wore off. Week after there was no unusual feeling in my eyes. And creepy red rings around the iris were fading too. Seeing in dark was difficult for few weeks but after 6 months I couldn't even see any halos. Nowdays, my eyesight is still perfect. It has been well worth it even if I got blind at 40. I recommend to find a doctor who has done eye operations before LASIK was even invented

lol bunch of pussies, I got it done and everything is so much better I can see perfect (actually better then 20/20). MY eyes are the exact same as before I got the surgery accept now with perfect vision, no dry eyes double vision or anything like that.

laser surgery is the best, i had very thick glasses, did the contacts, liked them better then the heavy glasses, seen better to, had catarac surgery then laser, it was nothing, no pain, left the office when done, saw better then ever, been over 5 years, loveing it, see my doctor every 6 months, he checks for anything that can go wrong, he has to, i was premature, oxygen in the incubater wrecked my eye's, blind in one eye, couldn't do anything with that. lasik may be bad, go for laser,

my vision is very bad -7.5 & -8.0. i went to see about lasik a few years ago. docto was honest with me and said i did not have enough of a cornea to work with. plus it would not garuantee that i would not wear glasses anymore. If ur vision is real bad then its not worth it. you will still wear glasses.

I had LASIK and am now permanently ruined with no known cure like about 1,000,000 other people. It's a scam. It's the worst known surgical procedure ever, and it ruins the health of your corneas. My opinion, get the most comfortable contacts you can find and don't sacrifice cutting a permanent FLAP that never heals into both of your eyes. Dry eye and bad night time problems are the most commonly known side effects, and some people are committing suicide, and going blind. You've been warned.
