Ibanez Euphoria EP5 - Steve Vai Acoustic first look

NIce review man! I recently bought this guitar too, and i have a question. When I turn on the tuner, it lights up and everything, but when i play the open strings to tune it, it doesn't respond, the green dot just flashes. But when i play the 12th note harmonic, the tuner responds. Is that how it's supposed to be? Are you supposed to tune by the natural harmonic?

@bigsponge no it should work with open strings. When I first switch on the tuner it lights up like you mentioned BUT it does take about 5-6 seconds before it starts working. So wait a little bit before you try it (you probably already have). Anyway hope this helps.
