  • uhm excuse me, you forgot the 90's. That was MJ time to me :)

  • gps sounds like mj

  • Uh I remeber my mom showing me his house when I lived there in Gary about 6 years ago. Him and my dad would have been the same age if he were still alive. Him and my dad went to the same school back in the day, wish I did lol but I wasnt born back then. Anyways, miss you MJ-RIP

  • great video!

  • I went to this house the day after he died on the way from Chicago to MI for a family reunion, There were a lot of TV crews there, and about 250 people, and this was about 9.30 AM, I will post video I took that day soon

  • thenudo; I want to tell you that this video is one of the best I ever seen (about independent videos). Congratulations, This is creative and a true video. I admire that you've traveled to visit Jackson `s house.

Thanks for sharing your video, I love it.

    Greetings from Spain!

(Sorry, my english is not good) haha

  • THANKS SO MUCH!!

  • lol i love this vid!! 5 *s!!

  • great vid .. love the 80's and miss them terribly

  • Interesting... I never knew he was from Gary, Indiana... Learn something every day :)

  • Never trust a female GPS..... :-P

  • I can't help but wonder who owns that house now and what their feelings about the merchandise stands, etc., surrounding it.

They'd better be okay with it, right?

And dig the police tape in front. Wow.

The woman in the car... not sure what to make of that, although her message sounds like a healthy one.

  • The Jackson family owns not only the house, but the whole block lol. There is even talks about opening it up for inside touring. The police tape is actually an area of the house they are working on and they don't want fans in that area. Yes - the woman in the car is strange - but she was a childhood friend of Jackson. Her car btw - is plastered with pics of her and him throughout his career. Pretty cool to look at :)

  • I have seen that house a million times on tv through the years but never realized really how tiny it really is to have housed that big family....I grew up on Michael`s music, I still have all my Jackson 5 and Michael`s vinyl albums...He truly as the song says "Gone Too Soon....R.I.P MJ

  • Yes - it was amazing to see for me how 9 people lived there. I agree!! Truly gone too soon!!

  • This was a great video Tony!! You did an awesome job!! Love you!

  • Thanks Lizzy!! Love you too!!

  • Wonderful video. He was a very interesting guy and a awesome singer for sure! Thank you for taking us along this was neat!

  • He did have an AMAZING talent :)

  • very good video

  • Thanks!:)

  • 4:50 why does that make my speakers mess up like i wuz getting called

  • That was my phone in the recording process. Sorry.

  • LOL, I thought my speaker was fucked, that explains it now

  • ur GPS is evil Tony! LMAO! Loved this vid man!

  • Indeed!!

  • Poor old MJ

    Nice video Tony :)

  • Thanks Dave!

  • GREAT video!!

  • Thanks for this video. Michael Jackson's little house aww. I love you Michael.

  • When you were in Gary, you were about 20 minutes away from me. I would have let you in if you came to my door.

  • Seeing that house makes me wonder where they put all those kids!!!

  • This was good! If it wern't for Heidi you guys would have never found it!

  • Aint that the truth!! :P

  • wow love how you put this together Tony, very well done, fantastic.

DOES anyone still live in that home today?

  • Thanks Lesli! No it is vacant. The Jackson's own it. The Jackson's own the whole block. There has been talks in the Jackson family to open it up for touring which would be cool.

  • Very cool! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks Jason!

  • Tony - this was really lovely - I've always loved MJ too - since he was knee high to a grasshopper with the Jackson Five...lived in Detroit during the heydays of Motown & all their music is in my blood.

(Lived in Indy too - but never made it to Gary)

Was that police tape I saw in front of house?

  • MEE TOO! :) Always have loved MJ...probably second to my all-time fave - Freddie Mercury. I still have my MJ collection from when I was a kid. I was going to incorporate it into the vid but was too lazy to drag it out of storage lol.

  • It was police tape. Apparently they are doing some work to that side of the house.

  • Fantastic! Love your videos! :-)

  • Thanks soo much! That means alot!!

  • thet was good i was a mj fan too

  • MEE too!! Thanks! :)

  • Great video! I was always a big fan of MJs too!

  • ME too!! I remember dancing to MJ before I was in kindergarden. Always have loved MJ!

  • Tony, you make the best videos. I guess I never realized how small his house was. I assumed with all of his brothers and sisters that it would have been bigger.

    Peace,

    Penny

  • Thank you soo much - that means alot! Yeah - Stacey and I were talking about how cramped it musta been in that house for the family.

  • That was so cool, I wanna go!

  • It was AWESOME!

  • Nice tribute for MJ. He was truely an unmatched talent.

I am tickled that now my children and their friends listen to MJ daily and think he is simply the best. To bad it took him passing for this generation to see him for what he was.

  • Thanks!! ;) I think so too!! Sadly - sometimes it takes the passing of someone truly talented for the generations to see. My all-time fave Freddie Mercury...same thing. :(

  • Wonderful video Tony (smiles)! I'll always remember him as a little boy who seemed to have grown up much too fast. RIP MJ...

    ~Thanks for sharing!

  • I agree...he never had a childhood really...it was nice that...for a brief moment...he was able to live his childhood at neverland. Too bad money hungary parents had to ruin it with BS allegations!!

  • You're a great narrator, Tony. I see Heidi called shotgun.

  • Yeah - Heidi was our co-pilot for the adventure lol. Thanks!! :)

  • That was a nice video!

  • Thanks so much!

  • great video!!

  • Thanks Ruthe!! :)

  • Tony, that was Awesome! Thanks for sharing that with us. I learned something new today I didnt know that we were that close to all that history! HUGS xoxoox

  • Yup - I'd be visiting all the time lol. Thanks Peggy! Miss you ALL!!! Love ya!
