I wonder why the Ludmilla pull an electro loco? The BR 1600 is even stronger than the Ludmilla. Is diesel cheaper than electricity or are there other reasons for that?
@kewlrauhl - I dont think the pantographs were up, therefore the electric loco is not collecting power - its just being pulled by the diesel as part of the train. Maybe it was a dead loco that needed moving and its been attached to the train as just as another item of frieght?
I first saw it drawed on a french children's book translated in Greek. In Peloponnisos, Greece, we've got meter gauge ALCO engines and MAN - HELLENIC SHIPYARDS DMU's (constructed in Greece with MAN engines and hydraulics and Continental suspension tires).
