  • they need to take the poeple who do this and tie there legs open and beats them in the balls and leavem there to starv to death

  • my aunt rescues greyhounds in ny. she has cancer so she fosters them till they can get a new home. i have a few rescues too. i posted a new video if you want to check out my rescue babies.

  • i just got one to he is very good i so love him he was a rescue too

  • No animal deserves pain and cruelty, but especially this breed is so elegant, and they make the Best, most affectionate Pets !!!!

  • ALL of our 7 babies are rescues!!! I so wish we could take in more!!! They're the best dogs ever!! We were lucky of how healthy our babies are, we do have one that was raced for too long and now his nails don't grow correctly, but we still love him soooo much!!

  • Greyhounds would rescue you if they could.

  • Greyhounds are great because they can tolerate a lot of physical human affection.

  • I am sold on Greyhounds and hope to have one as a pet someday. I hope they all find homes

  • i adopted a galgo espanol from spain, where they do terrible things with these beautiful dogs.they're the most friendly, gracefull, loving dogs i've ever met.the people who abuse these animals should have the same treatment they give these beauties;..........terrible abusement!!

  • I have two beautiful, greyt, grils. I can't imagine my life without them. It is bonechilling how callous humans are.

  • i rescued i greyhound her name is zena

. i love her to bits. i dont understand how people can kill such beautiful gentle animals. my family and i travelled 4 hours each way to get her. :)

  • who cares.

  • I have a rescued greyhound named Depeche. She is the sweetest, most beautiful, laziest (LOL :) dog I know. I love her so much! We go everywhere together and she is my constant companion. Another positive point about greyhounds is that they seldom bark. I can not imagine a better pet. Greyhounds are the most loving dogs and their character is almost regal.

I feel blessed to have Depeche in my life. If you are considering adopting a greyhound, please do it. Fall in LOVE!

  • @DBHuntington hi DB i know what you mean. i'm seriously in love with my rescued galgo too!it is said that ;once you have a greyhound ,you never want any other kind of dog!i totally agree with this!i used to have whippets untill they died of old age!now i hope my precious galgo will do the same!!respect from amsterdam

  • @motyomeid Amen to that!

  • @kc0wtq, you seriously believe that if people stop adopting retired hounds that people will stop racing them? The money is made off of these dogs whether they are adopted or euthanized. Racetracks are not puppy mills. Their money is not made from adopters; it's made from gamblers. Grow a brain.

That said. If anyone else has room in their heart and a couch to lose, adopt a retired greyhound. They are patient, loving, sweet-natured dogs who would fly to the moon and back to please their adopters.

  • @JodyWittman actually, there money isnt made from gamblers at all, if that were the case they would be filthy rich, they get stake money not money from bets

  • the more that get adopted the more that get killed adopters=enablers.

  • My step-dad adopted a retired racing dog and she is one of the most sweetest and loving dogs I've ever seen! Great dogs, never had a problem w/ her destroying the yard or carpet though. They are definitely 45 mph couch potatoes! lol

  • OMG 1:56 the black one is my adopted greyhound Seb, if not then a spitting image!

  • Yea well the people that are obsessed with saving them are not all there either. My girlfriend moved in with me had 1 then 4 months later we were up to 5. they will destroy your lawn and carpet. their salvation is overrated. I wish they would ban racing do these dogs were not bred so heavy its all very stupid

  • HURRY!!!!! Urgent request: Dairyland Greyhound Racetrack in Kenosha, Wisconsin will be closing on December 31, 2009.... 900 Greyhounds need to be adopted or they will be euthanized. Please help me get the word out; there is only 6 weeks to get this done. Contact Joanne Kehoe Operations Director P: 312.559.0887 Or Dairyland Race Track Adoption Center direct at (262) 612-8256 -can anyone help??

  • The lies are all wrong.

My family owns a racing kennel and these beautiful animals are not abused in any way!

  • The races are hard on the dogs, what do you do when they break a leg?

  • Their legs are fixed and they are adopted out. It is a very rare occasion for a dog to acctually break its leg.

  • That is good. I have seen too many with injured legs but I am glad some one cares.

  • I am soo glad my rescue greyhound didn't end up like the dogs at 1:02.

  • anyone who threats greyhounds or a matter asfact treats any animal or reptile any living thing deserves to be tortured very very slowly i hate people that do this shit to animals or any other things it pisses me off excuse my language i just get super mad!!

  • I feel your pain. Your so right! I'm not violent either..but these people sure make me want to be!!..with only them of course.

  • Adpting is great but it's not the solution, REGULATION is, these dogs are used as a business and there should be enforced standards on how they are treated, if not massive animal cruelty fines should follow, fines that will push corrupt dog owners right out of business. Register all racing dogs and have their treatment monitered especially at the end of their career, if the 'owners' wish to hand them over to adoption societies after- then they should pay a fee for this service..total BS system.

  • They're so innocent, I don't know why anyone could do this. I may be adopting, and I will never ever go to a race. Ever.

  • Things for greys are much worse than this. The 30,000 killed refers ONLY to the retired racers. There are a lot more that die as puppies before they ever see a racetrack. Not fast enough, wrong sex (bitches are not wanted) don't 'look' right..As they don't have 'race cards' these are not counted.- so does this mean they don't count?

  • My greyhound Gracye is 9 years old. When she lost a bet, they beat her up so much she was useless, and she couldn't even stand on her legs. She is still on therapy...

  • just stop going to this race tracks.

you bet on dog racing...you are saying this is ok.

  • Greyhounds are lovely animals who could do such a thing!!

  • There should be a special place in help for the people who treat these gentle souls this way

  • why would anyone do this to beautiful precious dogs that just want to be loved?

  • i need to know why people do this to such great, beautiful dogs, i love animals, how could someone have such a cruel mind?...i will kill them all who beat greyhounds or any dog god damn it. i hope every one of those who beat them go to hell and parish. oh Lord please help those animals.

  • Because of the evil done to animals just to make evil people money because of their ignorant greed, I am hoping WW3 happens in the near future and every single human being burns on the earth and suffers, its looking promising to, especially with the current unrest in the world :) Humans are despicable. Come on nature cause more millions more to suffer :) (fingers crossed)

  • i just got one from greyhound rescue in england there are great and i am a skinhead and if i see any one do any harm well lets say a eye for a eye

  • @ska7979 u know greyhounds are from Africa right?

  • @novelenterprise a lot of people think they're from Egypt because they look similar to Salukis, Pharaoh, and Ibizan Hounds but afaik they're actually from Europe around Ireland and Scotland. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they were celtic dogs pretty closely related to Scottish Deerhound and the Irish Wolfound.

  • @ska7979 same here matey, i have just rescued one,

  • people are garbage this as well as many other things should be illegal!!! watch EARTHLINGS if you like animals!!

  • I have teach my greyhound to wash his face, when I ask him to. It has been hard, but the result is so funny !!! You can watch it in my video. I hope you will like it. Thank's

  • good animals

  • ooh i love it

  • It's so sad. i love greyhounds even though ive never had one. i have a papillon instead, i know weird huh?

  • my mom adopted 1 greyhound 5 yrs ago, I HATED IT!!! it was ugly to me, well long story short it worked its way into my heart and is so beautiful and i love greyhounds will never have another breed and adopted another 1

  • Good video, people really do need to know about this issue... there such wonderful pets and yet so taken for granted

  • To be an unwanted greyhound must be one of the saddest things in the world. All dogs love to be loved and receive love in return, they want to be a loyal friend to someone who cares for them. Each day I hope more people will realise how wonderful greyhounds are, it doesn't hurt to share your heart and your couch! 5 star video thank you :) xx

  • why r people so willin 2 4 get the pain of all animals when it comes 2 what they call a fun nite out. then call themselves animal lovers!

  • So sad. ;(

    They need good life....

  • greyhounds are one of the most perfect dogs there is and anyone that kills them for example that man that killed hundreds of greyhounds should suffer how they suffer not get let off with a couple of months in prison and a fine!!

  • its a shame because greyhounds are amzing dogs i have 2 there so gentle and loving!

  • there's a new greyhound rescue video

    watch?v=VX6X8dBwA7A

  • this video directly made me adopt a a greyhound.

shes called leika, a ex-race bitch. and a wonderful dog.

  • at 25 seconds looks exactly like my greyhound our family adopted. greyhounds are amazing dogs and everybody who abuses these animals should go to hell!

  • greyhounds are sooo cute, i have one and i tink everyone should!. Please help rescue these poor creatures!!!! THEY NEED HOMES!

  • Truly depressing. I've got a lurcher and the whole greyhound genre are truly superb animals - daft, friendly, beautiful.

  • Why don't you piss off you dickhead!

  • The begining of this clip is by far the most horrifying piece of footage i have ever seen.., It breaks my heart to see the total lack of respect for a living being and such a loving animal, My family has had whippets for over 20 yrs and I have Adopted a greyhound myself.... this simply makes me sick. PLEASE ADOPT A GREYHOUND TODAY!!!!!!

  • greyhounds and whippets are my favroute dogs

  • who ever kill greyhounds r total twats

  • haha everyone check out the picture on 2:48 it's really cute

  • Please ban Greyhound racing - these dogs are bred for only one reason, money from racing - a very small percentage are adopted. None are bred as pets, and this the finiest and about the oldest of dog breeds deserves more. Adoption is wonderful for the lucky few, but what about the others who never have joy in their lives.

  • So you think not a single greyhound is bred as a pet? Are you mad? How do you think greyhounds got here in the first place, they are a working breed, bred for that purpose. If racing stopped, the breed would decrease in size and they wouldnt be bred for ability, but looks. To me this completely undiminded the greyhound an denies it of what its bred for. Take a look at Bull terriers of most breeds, it was once a ,athletic, proud, loyal and human friendly type. Now they are fat, attacking

  • kids and owners. This would never of happened with a working bull breed as it wouldn't be taunted in a family environments, denied the energy releases it would have got whilst "working" and training. They are now bred for looks rather than characteristics and you get breeding there manbiter with fluffy down the road who growls at dogs no matter what the owner does. But they are excuses by there stupid owners, a working dog would never be tolerated for human aggression etc and rightly so

  • Yes I have read that somewhere, that the only greyhounds are racing dogs and a few show dogs. Would love to hear if that is wrong. ANd breeding for looks is better than breeding for racing. Their hair and skin are so thin it is easy to get knicked, their thin long legs easily, broken if any fat the legs can't hold them up so they sensitive to all butmild weather. All so they can run faster.

  • breeding for looks is not better than breeding for racing you bloody idiot...do you know they put brother over sister and father over daughter, for looks??? maybe you should look into it a little more, dogs bred for looks are usually inbred, the same as ridgebacks you think the bigger the ridge the better the dog, do you know the bigger the ridge the worse the spinabifida is..at least in greyhound breeding they have a database so you can look at the test mating before breeding which will show u

  • if there is any inbreeding BEFORE you do the mating how many people breeding for looks do that?

  • you are right, and I never meant to mean that was better, but there was no reason for you to get so ugly about it - I hope this hateful rampage is because you are against all animal cruelty instead of defending how greyhounds are treated. That is how I read it the first time but upon rereading maybe not. Sadly it is easier to find animals that are treated a lot worse than greyhounds, I just happened tohave lived with one for eight years,

  • actually greyhounds are a hound breed along with the borzoi.and get ur facts rite. if u havent noticed we are talking about greyhounds not bull terriers. also the bull terrier is not fat and attacking. my best friend has 1 called kia and she is the most friendliest dogi have ever met. think before u type next time. but i do agree with u when you say that the breed would decrease in size and they wouldnt be bred for ability, but looks.....................

  • oh my goodness! The horrific pictures of the pile of greyhounds! that was alot to handle, but believe it or not, it is needed to show people whats going on. I am the owner of 2 retired racers and they are the best thing thats happened to me. I also have 2 other dogs with a total clan of 5 and will soon be looking into another greyhound adoption.

This video shows all emotions. Sad, Angry, Happy, Confused, everything. Keep up the good work!

  • I also wanted to say this video is a work of art, it shows the sadness of the greyhounds lost to the miserable captivity of their owners racing aspirations, then the happy endings of those that are rescued to wonderful loving arms & families. If only they could all experience the better side of human nature. This world needs to stop exploiting the voiceless & treat animals as friends, they are precious creatures that deserve our protection and care. Please speak up for them & share this film.

  • Until we stop using animals as 'sport' and 'entertainment' objects, we will never be able to prevent the abuse of these wonderful dogs and it's the same for circus animals. The trouble with human beings is that many really only 'see' animals when they are gaining from them financially but to be truly compassionate we must have empathy for all species and the right to live a safe and happy life from birth to death.

  • My message below is in response to the message written by Keri365.

Now to the composer of this video, thank you for this very sensitive and absolute eye opener about how greyhounds live before they are retired. Alhough very difficult to view, and extremely heart breaking, it must be seen in order to make people aware of what buying a ticket at a race track really means. Not only for greyhounds, but for horses, and any other kind of animal that is bet on.

    Thank you

  • Well, take a closer look. He is talking about when they are still racing and at the race tracks!!! This is not to say that they all treat them this way, but the GREAT MAJORITY do. Those imagines where not posed for the fun of it. These poor retired racing greyhounds have all the physical and psychological wounds to show for what they go through. It is amazing they can ever trust a human ever again.

  • blees those greyhounds x i want them all

  • un bacio a questi sfortunati cagnoni..... cercatre di perdonare queste bestie che vi fanno cosi male

  • I have a greyhound named Dusty. I wub her with all my heart.. I couldn't imagine if anyone at ALL mistreated my baby.. D:

  • whats the song called pleasexxxxxxxx channie

  • god this vid meks me cry , tht man tht killed all them greyhounds should of got LIFE!

if u take a life away from an animal the police should take away your life!

  • my nan works as greyhound rescue person she has 3 of her own and they are lovley

  • ..Omg this is soo sad =(!!! It's just like dog fights...It's just as bad as dog fighting. Stop abusing animals!

  • omfg if i seen some 1 doing that to a dog i would kill them

  • This is touching :). I have a greyhound (retired) named Harley. I think you guys would definitely enjoy the music video I put together starring him. I gaurantee it. So if you want to smile, you should check it out. Greyhounds are such amazing dogs. :( Its sad to see them mistreated. They don't know what life could be like.

  • i love the video i have a greyhound and his name is mark and he looks ike a tiger

    5 STARS

  • good video!! Thanks for being a voice for these dogs.!

    5 stars!

  • what music is this?

  • That's so sad! My sister just addopted one and he is soooo sweet!

  • Its obviouslt stupid and heartless for trainers to abuse theyre dogs. but and adopting is great. but i gota tellya even retired greyhounds are a handfull. You absolutley cannot have any furry animals in your house or theyre hunting/track instinct will kick in. And that means a greyhound running 40 mph in your house trying to catch you cat. (one of the most distructive and funniest things ive ever seen in my life)

Bat outa hell dont even come close.

    Theyre the supermodels of dogs

  • you opened my eyes, i adopted a former racer, under the name See the Light, i renamed her CeCe, i love her. thank you.

  • Its disgusting and truly shameful what people will do for money. Its heartbreaking and I hope people are outraged !!! Lets get an end to this creulty...stop the suffering of all animals. We as humans have alot of blood on our hands as there is torture to animals everywhere...in so many ways ! Perhaps we will learn to be more appreciative and our children and elderly will be taken care of also ! Thank-you to all who are kind and loving.

  • THANK-YOU for posting this...I cant watch it myself because I already know what is happening to these BEAUTIFUL dogs. Let the word get out about this and horse racing too ! If you look at the history of the greyhounds....They came from Egypt, known as Pharoah hounds, protecting the tombs...the English came and started breeding them with pit bull to make them more aggressive ( hence the brindle markings ) Pharoah hounds are a solid color. They used to tie monkeys on thier backs to run them.

  • I gave mine up today because I could not find a place to rent with them. They deserved alot better than I could offer them. I pray they find a new owner who can give them a garden and a proper place to sleep in. I miss them terribly and I've lost two faithful friends. I will probably never see them again. Anyone out there who can help these beautiful dogs please do. I am so sorry I don't have a proper place to live so I can keep them. Landlords take note!!!!

  • poor doggys

  • We have had our retired racer, Madge, for just over a week and this video made me bawl! I have wanted a greyhound for years and now I don't think I could ever be without one.

  • I absolutly love these beautiful dogs. People can be so evil!

  • people are so cruel sometimes i don't understand how a person could go to sleep at night knowing that they were causeing pain and suffering to harmless animals

  • It is a vicious cycle, if they weren't breed for greed there wouldn't be so many homeless. I have adopted 3 and fostered 3. My first was straight off the Hollywood dog track, he was starved, abused and petrified of men.

  • I made a video about this holocaust for italian people! hope this help. When I'll got a house of my own, i hope i will adopt a greyhoud or a galgo. Goodbye! Federico

  • Greyhounds are the most loving creatures on this planet. My family rescued one and if she wasnt rescued she would most likely be dead now. All the people who kill these dogs or work for a track should go to HELL!

  • well its not really the racing that is cruel but what happens after is. I see what you mean though.

  • Have a look at my great rescuded greyhound whom if we didnt take was going to be murded

  • Greyhounds make perfect pets. Loving, loyal but very lazy!! All greyhounds deserve a happy life after racing.

  • poor greyhounds my neigbours got a retired greyhound and had him for a very long time and then he died of old age just like all dogs should i still was upset that thor died :(

  • Greyhounds make the most perfect pets. They do not deserve to be treated as a commodity by the racing industry. But if they are, they deserve a decent life afterwards, not to be disposed of in a wheelbarrow as happened in County Durham.

  • Sad loss of beautiful dogs. I think 00wyk and cinnamontic are closer than they think - neither wants to see this abuse. No dog lover wants to see this. I already have a pointer rescue and another GSP, but would have a grey if we could afford another dog and had the money for more food and another set of vet bills and monthly heartworm prevention meds. Haunting video, many thanks and best wishes in your campaign.

  • I'd love to get a greyhound but I already have a mongrel I walk her for an hour a day and shes still overweight so I can't imagine how much exercise i'd need to give a greyhound to keep it trim !

  • They are the laziest dogs you ever met. They only need two 20minute walks a day. if you took a greyhound along with your mongrel for one hour a day that would be perfect. That's what our greyhound gets (at most an hour) and she's still thin as a rake!

  • i have a recued greyhound, have a look at "zina the greyhound"

  • ps the images are sad enough you didn't need to add enya in order to make this a real tear jerker...damn

  • The most Grateful, loving pet you'll ever have... It was only three years ago that we adopted our first grey. Our lives are absolutely

more complete with them here. They are a very special breed.Check out the YouTube clip "sleeping with greyhounds".I love my girls and I'm blessed to have them in our home.

  • what do you need to adopt i am not home from 5-5 3 days aweek the other two from 5-3 not here home on week end is this enough time i have a big yard no fences and huge huge fiels very nearby i am always out side running myself could they come with me? do they pee on the floor anyone sabe these questions?

  • Me and my wife are with an adoption group.Have 3 of our own and foster, which means getting them prepared to go to a loving home .If ever given the chance to meet one please do it you will understand. Please contact your local greyhound adoption group

  • I live in England and have two rescued Greyhounds who have changed my life. They have brought total joy and meaning to my life. Such loyal gentle beautiful animals.

  • are they rescued greyhounds or did you get them from the retired greyhound trust as there is a difference between rescued and retired

  • I have a retired racer,,3 races,,dead last,,she would have been euphanised too if not for adoption agencies and the people that work for them,,,check out greyhounds next time you want to adopt a pet

  • OMG thats horrible they treat them like trash this just breaks my heart to see these animals like this, why dont the people tht own them just keep them?

  • the people who train them are making an investment. thats all they care about. one of mine broke a hip-type bone while racing and the other was too social. they where gonna kill a them cuz they over raced one and the other wanted to play!

  • these are probaly the worst pictures they could find. why havent they shown any pictures of the thousands that are well looked after.

  • These are probably not even CLOSE to the "worst" pictures they could find. I foster for an animal rescue and I've seen more than my share of horrifying circumstances that occur. I have seen dogs and puppies with legs cut off, burned, been shot, dumped in a hole in the ground to be used as "blood bait" for fighting dogs, tortured as initiation into gangs, and the list unfortunately goes on; and don't even get me started on puppy mills! This stuff really does happen & people need to know about it!

  • your in america your greyhounds aint kept propely anyway even the good ones you need laws against dogs living cages kept on top of each other american greyhound complexs are a disgrace and i admit that and iam for the sport.

  • we so need to save these beautiful dogs..adopt today !!!!!!!

  • Great job!

  • You can get lots of information at a local race track, loads all over mine

  • sorry i disagree i go dog racing i dont think its a cheap night out not all dog racing is bad; ok i no a lot of stuf does go on.

  • It really depends what part of the world or even US on how retired racers are treated. I think I should get off the computer now and talk mine for a nice walk.

  • I have a greyhound and we adopted him in Portland, OR. They really are the sweetest dogs you'll meet.

  • It is very sad how cruel people can be.

Friends of mine adopted a greyhound from Massachusetts through the greyhound rescue...and we are in Montreal, Canada.

The dog was renamed 'Clark Kent' and if anyone ever wondered about the temperment of these dogs, fear not as he is the most docile dog on the planet!

He is loving and has a new home for the rest of his life thanks to the greyhound rescue people and my friends.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It's wonderful. It brought many tears to my eyes. I have a greyhound and his name is Finton. He's from the Center in Phoenix. He's obviuosly retired....if we wouldn't have adopted him could this really have happened? This is so DISGRACEFUL what we do to animals for entertainment and many other things. Hopefully your beautigul video will make people realise whats actually happening. Thx again.

  • Thank you for this wonderful video! We need to keep working to shut this "sport" down. These beautiful dogs are being inhumanely destroyed and disguarded when they're no longer capable of winning. Their natural instinct and abilities are being exploited. For what?? Entertainment?? A few dollars?? Would you give your life for that?? Think about it people... ~~ Lynn

  • I have two greys one "rodeo bull head" raced 127. He is wonderful.

Then "squeeks" only did 3 races. She had a "hop" So her and the sisters were retired. Our group had receved them. Her BDay was in oct. justed turn two. She is my "blond". But she is just as wonderful. They are my clocks they know what time to eat. They only eat two times a day. They are the best. Only bad part is that they can not be off a leash or out of a fence.

  • Awesome

  • Most dogs are released to the groups they are not "rescued". There are a few deaths by racing accidents. Why don't you worry about every other breed of dogs that no one bothers counting. Very few are "unaccounted" for. And that is by groups that don't even consider the true numbers. Most antiracing groups are at least 2000 dogs away from actual reported dogs. beleive what you will, but consider the source!

  • what sourse told you that? there are strict laws for that bread of animal in washington. you need a licence just to have a puppy. their job is to make money and once they cant do that they get put down so another dog can keep it going.

  • my friend just adopted 2 of these from a closed down racing track...he said grey required extra care because of their thin skin and cant be outdoor much or they can hurt themselves...is this true?

  • Wow those seem to be the only pictures throughout the entire internet of abuse. There origins are from spain. in the U.S. very few die and less than One percent are abused. Great job inflating numbers. All anti-racing propaganda is the same. I hope people see through your lies.

  • Just a quick fact check...in the U.S. in 2005 28,036 were born with about 26,000 being registered to race. Around 14,000 retired were reported rescued or "released". The other 12,000 were euthanized. So since you seem to be a person who likes percentages...that puts around 48% the retired racers killed vs. those racing; In the U.S. Those are facts.

P.S. There ARE rescues for virtually every breed. Perhaps reading a book would benefit you greatly.

  • There is less than 2,000 being euthanized your numbers are missing those brought into Canada also do not include dogs that to go into breeding programs, or those that go to vet hospitals to be kept for a year or 2 as blood donorsm today not sold for medical research, the numbers does not include racing owners who do their adoptions. There a more regulations protecting the racing greyhound than another breed in NA, more young labs are being euthanized a year than greyhounds born

  • Thank you for putting this up - the pictues of the neglected and dead dogs should put the people who race them to shame, but I doubt it will. I have a rescue whippet, the sweetest dog in the wortld, and we aim to get a rescue greyhound as a companion for him soon. Keep up your fantastic work.

  • Great video, i've adopted one and it is the best thing ever, there the perfect dog really.

  • Thank you so much for making this video. It made me weep and then smile. It explains perfectly why I adopted my greyhound Walter. Super work!!!

  • What a horrible ending for some of these beautiful dogs. Thanks for helping to get the message out. Your video was excellent.

  • Wonderful video keep up your great work with helping greyhounds find loving homes ....

  • Thank you for making this video! This barbaric "sport" has to end!!! All of these poor creatures should be given a good, happy, home to live in peace the rest of their days after being so used and abused!

  • Mon the hounds :) I got a retired racer last year and I can say he has been all of my familys (including our cat!) best friend since. Guys if your thinking about a dog, forget the fluffy ones get a greyhound!

  • erg!!

    mooi gemaakt!

  • Why not forbidd the racing ??????

It is as simple as that !

  • I own a greyhound and have just homed my 10th foster dog Fred see 'greyhound rescue fred' - for video. All have lived with my cats as well... have a heart and home a hound

  • TERRIBLE,BUT something can be done to those FUCKING BASTARDS!!!

  • soo sad im aloud to adopt a dog i wonder if i should get a greyhouund

  • Yes I think that you should if you have the space for one and few stairs they love too run no matter what young or old. But are WAY LAZY!!!!

  • It's really sad to see how cruel we are with animals.

I have adopted a Spanish Galgo ( Galgo Español) and he is incredibly sweet, and pure.

This video is wonderful but so sad.

  • Thank you for showing this. I have been involved in Greyhound Rescue and animal welfare in general for over ten years and it never ceases to amaze me how cruel, sadistic and generally sick some people are.

  • It's awful what some folks do instead of the right thing. At least the Thoroughbreds have several agencies that rehome retired racehorses. Many breeders support these agencies. But some thoroughbreds do go to slaughter, Whoever thinks that because they banned horse slaughter in the USA that horses are safe; think again. All that did was make for a longer ride over the borders and in Mexico they stab the back until they sever the spinal cord. The horse is concious, just paralyzed.

  • ohh i'ts bad at the dogs ithink =(

  • Quite sad to say the most, what happens to SOME greyhounds, after racing, but theres evil owners in every sport, where do all the reitred race horses go? i think that needs questioning more! anyway check my page out, see how my greyhounds enjoy there life, and how healthy they are with me!
