Well nothing against the great R&B band from Australia, but there's a small difference between them and the Rolling Stones. Being that the Rolling Stones are practically the most famous band on the planet, and nobody has ever heard of The Loved Ones the great R&B band from Australia. So I could see how somebody mighty name their band The Loved Ones without knowing the other exists.

My reference to the Rolling Stones was purely as an example, can you imagine a new young band calling themselves "The Rolling Stones"? a bit confusing.
