This is severely misleading as Lucas uses the structure within each film, not using it to cover the trilogy. The best example of Monomyth in Star Wars is shown within A New Hope in my opinion.

If you're interested in monomyth at all, I recommend reading the book "Hero with A Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell" and getting hold of the interview between Lucas and Campbell which details exactly how the monomyth is used in Star Wars. (It's really interesting!)

Yeah, the temptress is definitely not Leah.

I think with Luke, there is less a temptress aspect because he is more boyish than manly and sexual. Odysseus, a more male hero, has Circe as temptress, but Luke cannot feel that sexual temptress aspect because he is more the female/male figure.

So I would guess his temptation is more the disfigured darkside- similar to Jesus being tempted by the Devil by power and control.
