Omg. Use your hand! I am a 16 year old girl and I use my hand and dissect lionfish all the time! Reach in there and grab all of those guts with your hand!! They wont hurt you! You didn't actually cut open the stomach. It appears to be empty though, but most likely it had shrimp, and digested material in it. Next time use scissors, and freeze the fish before hand. It makes the venom go away. I have been poked plenty of times :P
