@MaveriKat Actually, the acceptable bar of behavior would simply be narrowed by quite a bit and former heroes would afterwards be considered villains because they would not meet the new narrower definition of "good".

Marvel did a story arc that kind of involved that called Civil War and DC did a Batman vs. Superman story on the same theme.
