Definetly. When he went mainstream alot of his stuff got changed to match the TV and radio, etc.'s needs. I got interested in him when he was underground, The Marshall Mathers LP really got me hooked because it was basically like murder rap. Even some of his more recent stuff was good (Like Toy Soldiers, Rabbit Run, and others) but alot of it lost some original fans of him with the mainstream image and whatnot.
