that's nasty you could get somewhere in the NFL. the only thing is there is clearly a ton of tailwind but i'm sure you could drain 55's with no wind at all
I was a college kicker at Western Kentucky and Ive seen some pretty good kickers in my career. You all can say what you want but this guy has a solid leg. Not only is he making the kicks from 60-65 yards, he is making them with LOTS of loft which is not easy to do. Typically to kick that far a kicker must drive the ball and not get as much loft as this guy does. Yes, it's different with 11 athletes coming at you but it's still impressive. He deserves a shot.
Is it just me or has anyone said anything about the fact that he has a back wind strong enough to make his shorts flap like a flag. Look at the top of the field goal the flag is blowing the entire time.
its not the fact that he can kick, any collegiate and pro kicker should have the leg to kick that far. i play soccer in college and can out kick both of the football teams kickers with a free shot. but they then set up a field goal situation with a d line and a snapper/holder and even tho i knew i wasnt going to be hit, i was no where near as accurate or could kick as far with no pressure.
ditch the tee, get a snapper and holder, and let's see how you do then. i guarantee that anyone recruiting kickers is thinking the same thing. oh yeah, let's see how you do without that tail-wind as well...
Good kicks. Strong leg. Personally, I'd remember that a lot of people can kick the ball, fewer yet can do it repeatedly under pressure, and fewer yet can do it and look good. It is an artform. That said, work on your finishing technique. You look out of control after the kick and that could worry scouts looking at this video. You have to look "professional", Good luck.
as a kicker i am really impressed but he did have a little help from the wind if u look at the back of his shirt and shorts before he kicks the ball . Still that is amazing i wish i could kick that far!
I challenge any NFL kicker to duplicate this video! Kick a 60 yard field goal and then follow that with 3-65 yarders! I didn't even mention the time, all within 3 minutes, good luck!
if u show up to NFL games early and watch warmups u can see nfl kickers kicking from that far and nailing them, maybe not 3 consecutive from the same spot but from that range and further and from different spots between the hash marks
World record? LOL only Americans play this game. Hardly a world record...

the wind is in his favor..A LOT of heavy wind judging from his shorts. Regardless nice leaping ability and nice kicks.

I don't want to know how a PAT from this guy would look like.

Not to rain on anyone parade, but why hasn't anyone said a word about the wind factor in this video?

Some NFL kickers can't hit 60's all the time. I seen John Casey warm up and barely make 55's, plus miss a lot

i hope he realizes that the record is 69 yards haha, and that was at ACU!!!

No question that this guy can kick. Now, factor in:
(1) Eleven trash-talking guys on the opposite team, all rushing at the same time with the intention of blocking the kick
(2) The quality of the snap
(3) The quality of the hold, and
(4) The pressure created by all of the above, plus a crowd of 80,000 screaming fans that love you one minute and hate you the next.
How good would he be then?
Texanrider2001 1 year ago 19
@Texanrider2001 2, and 3 are almost always going to be good at that level. 1 usually isn't too bad of a problem. 4 is the only legitimate problem.

umm yeah I give him props for this, but a lot different in game, when got people trying to block it, and have to depend on the snap being good too.
