@HomerS95 Dude linearity doesn't make the difference between a better game. Batman AA is a freakin Linear game and that made it onto the list alright. SotC is slightly more linear if you ask me.....what with having to slay Giants ONLY and do it in an order is as linear as it gets. GoW3 has you slaying Titans even bigger than Giants, Big Gods, Fast Gods and many other types of Gods!.

Good thing it IS their opinion and THEIR favs...otherwise I'd go all apeshit in the comments section

@TekkenElite its all opinion, but the guys at machinima are not the only ones who see much more than just slaying Titans in this game. my point, beside this, is, that in Gow you kill them ever time you wanna replay it, in exacly the same way (for example Chronos) and its just cool the first time you play it. and sotc goes much deeper in a emotional and melancholical way (of course thats not for everbody). but you cant compare theese games either.

Story wise SotC is probably better, but gameplay wise not even close.....but then again its their faves......whatever.

@HomerS95 KK but I disagree with GOW puzzles being easy. GOW3 puzzles were some of the hardest I've ever solved....especially the Garden.

@TekkenElite you're joking, right? you say you played both games, and at the same time you say that gow's puzzles are hard?! the garden thing was the only one in the game you can consider a 'puzzle', but even that was easy. it's way harder to, for example, find out how to encounter Basaran in Sotc (the 9th coloss)...

@HomerS95 Sure finding Basaran is is tricky but beating most of the Colossides is almost the same. Its not like GOW3 or 2 where all the bosses have a different tactic that can take chunks out of your Life. Like in GOW2, Euryale can turn you into stone and smash you effortlessly, or when Poseidon hits you with electric attacks through the ground and takes a quarter of your health or like Hades when he summons that awesome chain attack with only 1 place being safe out of all. Now thats challenging

YES! Shadow of the Colossus! I didn't think it would make #2 let alone make the list at all considering not much people know about it. That game is just one epic boss battle after another. It is one of the only ps2 games I still enjoy playing. Now if only they make a sequel with even more epic boss battles and an expanded land.

I'm sorry...but where's AC1 and AC2? AC1 and AC2 were definitely a leap in the gaming world; there lies an sandbox type gameplay with a stunning story line and captivating graphics exploring time periods that have been left untouched by other developers. And it still didn't make it on here? I'm pretty sure it would beat out at least Super Mario and land within the early 10s.
