@iraqibodybuilder Hey, don't feel so bad. Nursing is a crappy field anyway. I'm a nurse and looking to get out. I'm actually starting Finance classes and on a diet. I want to get healthy and in shape and try to be a personal trainer. :-)
@BrutalRealist u are actually the first nurse to say that. most nurses loves their jobs, but i dont belame u, it gets depressing seeing people die and illed. am getting my certificate in personal training hopfully around february. i always loved fitness, health and bodybuilding. wish u good luck bro!
@iraqibodybuilder Most nurses are in DENIAL. Unless I know ALL of the miserable nurses, the vast majority of people that I know, in nursing, are stressed out, miserable, and suffering in some way, shape, or form. Nursing is about a bunch of politics. Nurses are conditioned to think that abuse makes them "Tough enough for the job" and/or "Able to cut it". It's a bunch of brainwashing. I LOVE Health Sciences and my patients but have too much pride to stay in nursing. Good Luck :)
@BrutalRealist , actually i wasn't going for nursing but i was going for radiology technican (( x-ray tech)). its almost same as nursing, two years program, a waiting list 2-3 years prior to get to the program, its very similar to nursing, but i wasn't lucky, maybe am not destined to achieve that goal in particular. but i also have friends failed nursing school, and i have nursing friends whos always depressed, and my best friend and cusin he is a nursing assistant, but he hates his
@BrutalRealist job badly, but he is getting paid so well, but idk, how u feel. i think it gets to your head after treating all those patients and stuff. but anyway feel free to work out and play sports it will make u feel good, and after a while believe me, u will be addicted to the gym, its always for me. wish u the best bro.
@RodneyVintage Oh no...another innocent nursing student. I'm a nurse and beg you NOT to Google "I hate nursing " or "No nursing jobs" if you don't want the reality/truth of it all. Take those pre-reqs and apply them to a better Health Science major.
i havent joined the program yet, i just fineshed the prereq's. Im so scared, everyone is telling me that the program is sooo hard. I think I will fail. Any Advice?
just do your best and keep an eye on things (topics to be discussed) and dont forget yourself...take care of your body dont go too sickly coz you cant do your best when that happends
get plenty of rest. lack of sleep is one thing that has made my nursing school experience a nightmare! cut back on caffeine and alcohol. if you maintain a healthy body your mind should follow. be open minded and understand that you will make mistakes. learn from them. be honest, especially in the clinical setting. honesty makes you look smart and responsible. it is a lot to learn, but it has been done many times before so it can be done again! good luck, i wish you well.
Have fun being unemployed and in debt.
