  • I loved Derrick Brooks! He had some of the greatest runs in Notredame history.

  • @scoresby33 Derrick Brooks was a LB at Florida State. This is about REGGIE Brooks.

  • Reggie Brooks FTW

  • i didnt realize brooks was this fast. he's pulling away from the pack.

  • Man we need guys like this again. What a great player.

  • he helps out coaching sometimes too .. GO COACH BROOKS!!!

  • reggie brooks' sone goes to my school haha

  • oh how wonderful it would be to have that blocking back...

  • which people like chargers

  • manhe is awesome i wish had him now

  • i played with his son alex brooks at holy cross! this guy is the boss

  • you people have to realize if you have a Notre Dame education you don't have to play football some football players stay because they have choice

  • When I was at the Notre Dame football camp there he was one of the assistant coaches in 2006

  • Man I miss those days , But I hope we have some on the way GO IRISH !!!

  • that guy was amazing. I don't know why he didn't stay longer in the nfl

  • How funny - in the clip of the unconscious run - #20 for Michigan is Corwin Brown - the DC of Notre Dame

  • Dear "genius" Charlie Weis - if you watch this video you will notice that most if not all these runs, the FULLBACK had a good to great block (not taking anything away from Reggie). The last two years, the fullback had disappeared from ND's offense and ND's rushing game has been horrible. Please - figure this one out!

  • This guy just served me a pina colada at Trader Vic's. I SWEAR TO GOD! His hair was perfect, we're great friends!!!

  • this guy is a the running back coach at my high school!!! I swear!!!! im friends with his daughter!!!

  • I actually do know that, I went to Marian. He works at ND now, hope he takes more of a football coaching role at ND soon!

  • this guy(reggie brooks) was my 6th grade football coach, SWEAR TO GOD, i live here in South Bend, and i kno his son. we're good friends

  • hes a scatman

  • Great post (thx).

Reggie was unbelievable at ND (1992). He had such a great start to his pro career and then I don't know what happened. Very talented...

  • Reggie is my coach right now... im a senior at Saint Joe high school in south bend. its across from notre dame. his sons both play in middle school and are apart of our feeder system. if u want to see Jordan taylor or myself go to my videos. our success is because of this man!

  • Tell your coach he is a Beast, and I loved watching him run through people like a truck. Ask him if he could go across the street and tell those running backs to "run" like he did. The ND fans would really appreciate it!!ps . he should of got the Heisman.

  • This dude ripped teams up in 92

  • he should have won the heisman in 92. they gave it to Torretta. Nonetheless he was in the same class as Faulk and Hearst.

  • Wow

  • Reggie Brooks was 1 of the fastest running back in college football and the fastest prep sprinter in HS running a 10.3 100 meters, he was Reggie Bush before Reggie Bush.

  • Reggie was the only bright spot for the Redskins in 1993. Awesome footage. Thank you Reggie!

  • I've seen many of the great running backs in Notre Dame history --- Latner, Hornung, Eddy, Rice, Brooks, Betis, Waters, and a host of others. Give me Reggie Brooks as the premier runner of them all. Without exageration, Brooks was a threat to go all the way every time he touched the ball. What a terrible shame he was injured as an NFL second year man. I would have loved to have seen the career numbers that he posted before he hung up his cleats. Thanks for the memories Reggie Brooks!

  • Reggie should have won the Heisman that year. Reggie rushed for over 1300 yards that year, in a backfiekld that included Jerome Bettis, not to mention averaging 8 yards a carry.

  • I agree. By far one of my favorite Notre Dame teams growing up to watch. I always wondered what happened to Reggie Brooks. This guy was my favorite Notre Dame running back over Bettis and Watters because he was a hustled more than everyone on that team. It brings back memories just watching his runs. He had 1000+ yards his 1st yr in the NFL but what happened after that? So he did get injured???

  • Sometimes when I'm down and need a little picking up, I slip in the tape of the USC game where Reggie ran all over them in their own house! GREAT!!! I love to hear Keith Jackson saying.....Reggie Brooks is tearin em up!!! God Bless you Reggie!

  • His best run to me though, was the TD he scored unconscience against Michigan State!

  • was against Michigan, last run on here

  • Interestingly, the first guy to miss a tackle on that run was none other than our current defensive coordinator, Corwin Brown!

  • Reggie Brooks could have been one of the greatest running backs to ever live if he didn't get hurt with Washington.

  • Reggie Brooks was the best running back in Notre Dame history, hands down.

  • Sick

  • Hahaha believe it or not he's our Runningback coach at Saint Joseph's High School right next to Notre Dame in South Bend. he made our RB Jordan Taylor whos going D1 next yr. Coach Brooks is an awesome dude and for u fans wait till his sons come up one is a jacked lil bastard. squating 200 in the 7th grade

  • How's his brother Tony doing?

  • He lives in Indianapolis now. Alex (Reggie's daughter) was tellin me at Mass if we go to State Tony will go to that. we play for regional championship tonight.

  • Built like Barry Sanders, low center of gravity, but even faster. Truly awesome to watch.

  • two words about reggie brooks.

    sick nasty

  • Two words...Absolutely Amazing...! I still dont know why this kid wasnt successful at the next level.

  • He was...as a rookie, finished 3rd in rookie of the year voting behind Bettis and Mirer. Second year, he had a career ending knee injury.
