  • U shud get opi it's. Better

  • this is tooooooooooooooooooo slow

  • you have long nails

  • you paint good

  • I bought CRACKLE nail polishes but gave some to my aunt.. Funny thing was I wanted the blue CRACKLE but I got purple instead :l..

  • @yourreadinmyusername It would probably look pretty cool if you put a really thick coat of one of the crackles on then a really thin one on top it might work better

  • I used one of China Glaze's sparkly gold polishes, and put black mesh over it and a top coat. It looks so cool!

  • nice colours but OPI shatter in better then the China Glaze Crackle..

it doesnt matter how much nail polish you put on the nail; there is an even of 'shatter' or 'crackle' on a nail. :)

  • i got this todayyy hope it works so cool

  • What if you don't put on a "base" nail polish? what if you just wear crackle? will it work?

  • @charissaaliyahathorn Nope, it needs the base coat in order to attach itself to it and shrink.

  • @charissaaliyahathorn Okay thank you. ;]

  • I smiled at the thought that I stared at those bottles while listening to your growth tips. Lol. I love love love your videos!

  • I have been wearing the China Glaze Black Crackle glaze. I put a clear coat on, let it completely dry, then use the Crackle, then one more top coat when it drys. I love how it looks!

  • you have really nice nails!

  • the colors are so cute but the shatter from opi is way better

  • Does anyone know what the availability of these has been so far? I've been trying to get some OPI black shatter, but that's not an option right now. Plus I like China Glaze more than OPI generally, I just like the crackle/shatter effect.

  • big , less crackle go heavy coating less, small crackle thin coat :)

  • I'm not liking this formula, it almost didn't crackle at all on the last two fingers you did. I have the OPI black shatter, I know you don't review OPI but I do like that crackle formula better. Thanks for the review I love love love your reviews :)

  • the crackle thing doesn't float my boat at all, but it was cool to watch it happen on the video :)

  • where can you get these nail polishes?

  • @xtiffeeh Amazon, Ulta, Sally's

  • i Love these!!!

  • what? cover girl has cracle nail??? what? what? i need

  • i love your nails!!!!!!

  • omgoodness! ^~^ Bought me these, they're amazing! thank you for this video :)

  • they have these nail polishes avaliable on amazon

  • i got a whole set a my local ulta.

i hope that helps some of u that wants it!

  • cool it's like that new katy perry one that just came out :)

I want that mint green one It reminds me of For Aubry that's my fave china glaze nail polish ! I totally want those they look amazing !

how much are they do u know?

  • @RainbowNarcissist I believe they range between $3-7 depending where you buy them

  • @RainbowNarcissist Hey I have both and the color is identical lol I really think its the same color with crackle formula in it :D

  • @TheGIRLIWILLCUTU Not sure - probably a few weeks or so; they are LE

  • the concept is cool, but i definitey wouldn't buy into it. i wished it would crackle more.

  • Really neat! thanks so much for sharing! I have been wondering how the crackle effect works!

  • black mesh and lightning bolt are my favorites for sure

  • I was wondering where you got yours...I was trying to look for them online because I live in Canada and I haven't been able to find a place yet.

  • I've been wondering this..What would it look like to apply 2 different crackle polishes on one nail. It be cool if you can show us the results...if it works. Thank You

  • @yourreadinmyusername Please see the review post, I showed an image of that :)

  • Hey Christine! Do you usually wear polish on your nails on an everyday basis, or only for swatches or wear tests?

  • @hwoodhillsnblvds It just depends :)

  • hi what do you do to make your nails healthy looking and prevent it on turning yellow? thanks ;)

  • @talk2eunice I just use a base coat

  • How do u use pigments that come in holiday sets. Cos of the narrow opening, do u dampen the brush to avoid it falling everywhere? I dont wanna transfer them out if I can avoid it.

  • opi or china glaze?

  • @nickie1461 china glaze

  • o.o

i love the white and black! I wish that the Katy Perry one didn't sell out the first day it was released at Ulta...maybe this will be my chance to try a crackle affect nail polish :D

  • you have really pretty nails!!

  • hey christine i was wondering i work at a salon and my manager said that opi is actually planning on coming out with their own color line for shattered in march or early april. have you heard any news on that??

  • @YumiMadeUp I have no idea, sorry!

  • Your nails are like mine. I don't do much to them either but I'm blessed with genes that give me hard strong nails and they grow out fine. Never used acrylic or anything either. great vid by the way :-)

  • is these polish in stores yet????

  • @allboutnail Some readers said they were at Sally's but not all have them out

  • what happened to your middle finger? D;

  • 1998 the cover girl brought it out, crappy it was.

  • just picked these up today sans black (I have the BarryM nail effects). CAN'T WAIT to try them all out! <3 Rita

  • you talk so much.....

  • I want all of them!! And will get all of them as soon as they are available at my local Sally!!! thanks for this video!

  • I think the opi formula is way better. Its a lot bigger in the cracks and looks a lot better.

  • I love how these crackle polishes work- I think they'd be fun for the toes in the summer but am I the only one who thinks it looks a bit tacky on the hands?

  • why don't you show your face?

  • @justbeauty01 Because the video is about the product, not me

  • can you buy this at ulta and sephora??

  • @makeupisforme ulta i think

  • I'm wearing OPI Black Shatter right now and it's my new best friend.

  • Although China glaze is a great nail polish brand... I think their crackle nail polish isn't really as good as other brands. Thanks for the review though

  • I have the OPI black shatter, so I will definitely be checking these out!!

  • it just kinda looks like your nails chipped weirdly...

  • I have the blue and purple and white and the black from opi :)

  • r these limeted edition?

  • I am dying to try these!!!

  • I like the thin crackle

  • not feeling the huge crater cracles, but still might pick up a couple because of the variety of colors. i wish opi would come out with a color other than black shatter first, gthough

  • im getting all cuz my grandmum has a beauty supply behind her house and china glas is 3 bucks!

  • I used e grey one the other day. It cracked way better for me. Personally I like them better than the OPI shatter. Even though the shatter is alright. I find the Crackle consistency is better.

  • I think I may get the black and purple!

  • wish you would have demo'd all of them.

  • wow thats kind of freaky lol

  • omg, i love all of ur colour combi.... :)

  • Hey! What's the best nail polish remover? I'm having a hard time getting my Seche Vite off.

  • @NashvilleBeauty Zoya Remove+

  • @temptalia are these polish in stores yet???

  • @temptalia

hey do you get these at sallies?

  • @lullubyboo200 I get Zoya online at zoya.com

  • i have crushed candy and it looks gorgeous with a sparkly gold base!!! so subtle but with a surprise!

  • Nice!! What type of cam do you use??

  • @Chykevia Canon Vixia S100

  • Hey! So I have Katy Perry OPI Black Shatter. I've only used it about 3 or 4 times and it's already super thick and dried out and chunky. Have you found this happens with these polishes as well? Or do you know how to avoid having that happen?

  • @lakewake I just received these, and I'm not sure how thinner would work with these (like if it would disturb the "crackle" effect or not). :(

  • @lakewake I used some nail polish thinner and it didn't change anything for the crackle effect at all!

  • I don't like that crackle effect at all in colors other than black. That blue is hideous. No offense to you though :)

  • your nails are amazingg

  • Thanks! I was very curious about this - excellent review. :)

  • when is this out???

  • @gum1014 it's already out : )

  • The china glaze colour names, along with opi's, never make much sense to me.

  • I really like Barry M's Instant Nail Effects better than my OPI shatter! Will have to check out that gray one!

  • I don't like your video's anymore...

  • @Nish4Shizzle don't watch them anymore =)

  • @lnp5015 yeah I already stopped ;)

  • I just purchased the OPI shatter polish and I think it works so much better than this one.

P.S. I heart your nails! They're so pretty.

  • Pretty cool I like the colors !!!!

  • I worry that it looks like you put polish over old polish and then the new polish cracks.

  • itsjust not my thing...

  • Yah this is a very cool look!

  • i need to get my hands on the black and grey ones.

  • thats so cool!

  • I JUST BOUGHT THE OPI ONE TODAY AND NOW I WANT THOSE HAHA!

  • does anyone where we can buy it in stores in the states!!??

  • @bkajanetty Sally Beauty Supply.

  • Wow! Tha's cool! Not my style but original! I haven't seen anything similar!

  • woah . . . this is pretty cool! Thanks for this review.

  • I can't decide if I like this look or if I think it's tacky. I like the idea of using a black with different neon colors for spring though.

  • i loooved what you did with the light pink and grey crackle! those are my fave colors together

  • r these permanite colors? caz i luv them all and want to get the but havnt found them

  • it looks like the OPI one is much better. this one seems really messy and the crack are to big. thanks for the review! this helped alot!

  • I think my nieces would love this and I am going to use Zoya nail polish remover.

    Thanks

  • I love your nails! They're so healthy!

  • Duuuuuuuuude! It happened right b4 my eyes! lol Cool concept(I had some of the old stuff from back in the day) Can't quite find this. It's sold out everywhere, including head2toebeauty. :(

  • i just ordered all 6 of these for $3.49 a piece at head2toebeauty !!

  • @tcr2005 Now they are out of stock. Lucky you. LOL

  • @eugie73 awh darn it!

  • the crackle thing is a little 5th grade for me. lol. but i love your reviews as always.

  • I feel like the black and grey nail polishes crackle a lot better and consistently? the other shades seem to crackle less and just have a few large crackles

  • mehh... nothing very special.

to me, crackle polish looks like shipped nail polish.

    i guess i'll just skip :)

  • while its pretty cool I find it makes nails look rotten

  • beurk

  • I really want the blue one.

  • i have the collection & i LOVE all of them

  • loveee them!

  • i hate how whenever someone comes out with something new and cool (OPI Shatter), the others stupid companies have to IMMEDIATELY copy it!

  • @OfficialKJ mia secret came out with this before opi....so be it!!!!!

  • @OfficialKJ she did say that cover girl tried the whole crackle polishes yearsssssssss back... and even before OPI had the shatter nail polish barry m has had a same nail effect nail varnish

  • @OfficialKJ Crackle nailpolish is kinda an old thing. In the 90's cover girl or some drug store brand did it. It is just coming back into style

  • @OfficialKJ I don't follow OPI, but didn't that just come out? If you think China Glaze just whipped these up a week later, you are most definitely mistaken. Most brands work anywhere from 6 months to 2 years in advance - the average seeming to be around 1 year where products start being produced for testing purposes, but the concept is easily created even before that. Not to mention, CoverGirl seems to be the real originator - 10 years ago.

  • Jealous much? Theres nothing gross about it except your attitude.

  • @cuoremorei hahha i like how you think i'm jealous of her nails. i'm sorry, but nails that long arent' appealing or seen as pretty to me. i much prefer shorter nails.

  • ill been using crackle nail polishes from Mia secret, they are fabulous, better than this ones...everybody compliments my nails!!!!! google it

  • @mlizzie69 i wanted to buy it instead of shatter polish but it said " best used on acrylic nails" so i was forced to cough up more $ for shatter =( lol

  • @uLOVEjULZ I have natural nails and they work perfect... basecoat, two coats of nail polish. top coat, let it dry completely, usually i wait like and hour to put the crackle nail polish... after it crackles i put another top coat...

  • where are the tutorials!???

  • @fruitcake198910 I don't do them any more.

  • Hii where did you buy your rescue beauty polishes? :) x

  • @lozzie44 Through Rescue Beauty's website

  • Please do a Nailcare video!

I wanna have Nails like yours! (:

  • @MissSunshine221 I spoke of my nail care routine in the beginning of the video!

  • I want your nails!

How do you always keep them so long?

  • @MissSunshine221 I don't do anything special, they just grow like that naturally

  • Thank You for giving us a peak at these very cool nail polishes. Thanks for the video. Cheers

  • i don't understand the concept of those nailpolishes, i don't think it looks pretty

  • I love your reviews and swatches because there so informational!!!

  • i think it looks nicer when you do a thinner coat, but great video and i want them alll!!

  • instead of coming out with colors, they need to come out with something you put your nail through so that us challenged people can paint our nails correctly and not get it on everything. Also something to help us put the right amount on, etc

  • i dunno something to trace through or something

  • i mean they have every color under the sun

  • eh its tacky. that color is pretty though

  • I have to say that I think the Barry M Nail Effect is the best crackle nail polish out there. It cracks much more than the OPI and the China Glazes

  • want want want!

  • around summer time last year barry m (the uk makeup brand) brought out a polish called nail effects that does the exact same as this!

  • CHRISTINE DO YOU KNOW A LEDGIT WEBSITE THAT SELLS OPI AND CHINA GLAZE?

LIKE SO SHE CAN SEE PLEASE

  • @GirlyGlitterful just buy on ebay that's where i've got mine,beauty

  • @GirlyGlitterful I don't know about OPI, but China Glaze you can get from head2toebeauty, 8ty8beauty, transdesign, Sally's, etc.

  • check out my review of two different types of crackle nail polish

  • looks like the O.P.I. one crackles better... ? This big, juncky crackles (sometimes only one big gap) don´t look nice...

by the way, your nails look amazing!! so white... i ALWAYS use an under-coat, but my nails always are a bit yellow... :-(

  • @RatlosAlleVergeben the cracks depend on the way you apply the polish. if you apply a very thin amount there will be many crakcs, but if you make it thick then you may end up with one big giant crack.. :)

  • @RatlosAlleVergeben Your nails get yellow after using too much nailpolish, last year i had really nice nails and never used nail polish and now they are yellowish :(

  • @RatlosAlleVergeben The size and number of crackles depends on how thick you put on the polish and if you accidentally cover the same spot twice. if you notice on the first run she did with crushed candy it crackled a ton, but on the next one there was a lot more product so it didn't crackle as well. The china glaze crackles pretty much exactly the same as the OPI

  • @MissMochibon i have both, and i personally have found that the OPI crackles better and goes on smoother. this is just my experience though. :)

  • @RatlosAlleVergeben depends on how much polish u put on, i have all of these and they crackle really well! u just have to put on a really thin layer so it doesn't look big and junky : )

  • @RatlosAlleVergeben it's the way she applies it...too thick. I have both the OPI shatter and the purple one from this collection and they crackle the same.

  • @RatlosAlleVergeben The crackling depends on how thick/thin of a coat you put on, and it also matters just how dry the polish is underneath. I did my best to let each base color dry but I'm not perfect. Thinner coats give you more cracks while thicker coats will give you larger cracks but less of them. I believe I mentioned this in the video, as I showed both a thinner and thicker coat.
