  • Great work :-)

  • Hi how did you get your points to run outside as I hear that others have heaps of trouble when installing outside points. Thanks

  • Very impressive! The performance of the train over complex pointwork looks faultless! What track do you use, and is it live or dead frog?

  • I saw this video some time back, and I have been looking for it ever since!

I think this the BEST one ever.....................I love the indoors/outdoors setup. My own [when it ever gets finished] will be somewhat similar. Favourited and subscribed! Congrats on a truly magniificent railway!

  • That's a fantastic indoor/ outdoor line you've got there. How did you construct your station platforms outside. Did you make a frame or did you use a solid piece of timber. I'd like to one day do a cab ride of my outdoor railway but don't know where to get a mini camera small enough for OO gauge.

  • WOW that's an impressive circuit!!!

How much track did you use? MORE than Network Rail :)

  • Congratulations, it's brilliant. Would like to see it re-run with HD cam.

  • @GoldhunterUK

Hey thanks for comment, I'm always improving the layout, I've rebuilt the garden loop with new timber as it all rotted, it's also now 4 track on the loop which includes up and down Goods worked on Permissive Block, whereas the rest is worked on Absolute Block, all with real signalling instruments from redundant signal boxes.

I'm not sure that an HD camera of that size exists yet, great idea, I'll look out for one.

    Cheers, Michael

  • @GoldhunterUK I concur - far too impressive a railway not to do it full justice!

  • Hey, there's a huge, scary-looking, monster in the video (on the left side) at 1:54. Another equally scary-looking one at 3:58. Call out the army and air force to deal with them.

By the way, darn nice looking railway. Very smooth running as well.

  • @stewartx5

Hey thanks for comments, lol, the yard is either side of the main lines so it's ok to run at line speed (90 max (Equivalent)). Yes you're right that is one very ugly and scary monster, I think that each time I look in the mirror... Lol.

    Michael

  • You're speeding through the opening rail yard, so there goes your operator's license.

  • WOW.. THAT is SO AWESOME!

  • @CobraMarty Hey,thanks for comment, do you have a model railway?

Check out my other model railway video and spot the huge spider...

    Michael

  • @rcl2233 Yeah, but very very small.. A basic set when I was like 2 :P still works. A model of the old CN (Canadian National) frieght train diesel engine

  • that garden place reminds me of the movie avatar, like in pandora :)

  • That is BIG layout!

  • that is really cool, I had a HO us when I was little, then now a Marklin set for Christmas. I really enjoy seeing other peoples toys! I have been watching alot of live steam trains lately. It must be expensive to get into however those who do ride them, with other also as passengers.

  • great set what scale is 4 mm? inside outside track?

  • 4mm is 'OO' guage (Hornby/Bachmann), the track is PECO STREAMLINE flexible, which is nickel silver and doesn't rust. Can be used in and out, some of my track has spent 30 years in several gardens.

  • wow that's kool :)

  • Thanks...
