BUT, i will love to live there someday. I am actually taking this seriously and learning all i can.

I'm not really doing it for the anime or tech... but more for the culture, envionrment, and new beginings. Not saying i hate my life here, but hey! cant blame a human for wanting something new. xP

Anyway, japan looks amazing and it will be an honor just to visit. :)

  • HOME SWEET HOME <3

  • You know that random extra room that you don't know what to do with it? I have an idea. Why not let me move in and make it my room? lol

  • Most people in japan do not have that luxury. Most people that live in Japan live in a box apartment.

  • woah, that's a pretty big apartment compared to the other ones I saw on youtube, how much was the rent ?

  • @TheLollipopAhh prolly cuz most on youtube are close to tokyo or a larger city.

  • Since this is like 4 years ago, are you still living there?

    Btw, nice neighborhood! :)

  • this is nicer than i thought.. wow...you are so lucky! i'm planning to rent one in daimon area.. everything is so takai :[

  • Awesome Aparment! But how much does those usually cost? And is it hard to get them from internet so you have to go to Japan to rent it? thanks!

  • Oh how I envy you. ;_;

  • wow you have a big apartment!

  • what is the song??

  • @stenfresh2df the song is Headlock by Imogen Heap

  • Dang girl. You live in a big apartment. I live in Ogikubo, Tokyo and my apartment is so tiny! How much do you pay a month?

  • @Jatisrose

Ogikubo area is still expensive. if you want to live cheaper and bigger Apartment , you should move to superb.

  • @azuki2 The suburbs? I mean, how much do you pay for yours a month?

I thought I WAS in the suburbs. Cheese and crackers.

  • @Jatisrose

I live in Kawasaki area . maybe 30 minutes to Shibuya. I think apartment in Tokyo area (23ku area) is expensive. So Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa is cheaper than Tokyo.

  • @azuki2 I pay about 760 a month, and that's including utilities. Is that more or less that your rent? Not only that but I didn't need a guarantor or anything like that. DId you need one? Know any gaijin-friendly ones?

  • Just came down to this video a few years later just to thank you for helping me find an artist I actually care about.

  • Do you think that toilet could reach warp speed?

  • I could not be more jelous. Nice appartment in the best country in the world!! One day I hope to break free of this waste land called the UK, and into the land of the rising sun... and land of insanely cool toilets!!

  • Is it expensive :( ? (im only 15 I know nothing about handling good money XD ) . It's seems like nice and cozy.

    its a cute apartment!

  • no mamesss!!!!!!!!! me vuelvo loco con ese huevo,

    esta diminuto T_T

  • Imogen Heap. Yay!

  • Very nice apartment!

  • @mozartfx1 Actually their aparment looks like a totally japanese style. This place is a Mansion, my friends in japan doesnt have to much space, because their higher rent. Thanks to share with us. I miss Japan.

  • Strange. You can't tell anything about your personality by looking around your apartment. No pictures, no books or CD's or DVD's laying around, no color, no fun. For a girl with the name bopbopbopbopbop, I kinda thought I might see a picture of Billie Holliday or that cool black and white Dexter Gordon photo with the smoke from the Herman Leonard collection. It's still an awesome apartment and I'll check back to see if you decorate a little and post another video. Bye bop!

  • @mozartfx1 i was thinking the exact same thing :O

  • awesome. if i had the money i would move from the U.S.A in fear of in the future its going to be the start of world war III.

  • wont that bed put dints the tatami mats?

  • i wanna live with you. i'm dead seriously about it!!!!!!

  • can i come over for a few days?

Nice place by the way. C:

  • nice apt. where is JET?

  • That's amazing! I always wanted to go into a Japanese apartment! It looks soooo cool!

  • Awesome video! Very cute, and yes your apartment is huge! I think you got lucky ;)

    How rural is it?

  • you are the luckiest person i have ever known !

  • Very cute video :D

  • you are so lucky to live there T-T

  • @JeanPierreRamos not any more heheheh

  • @Cz1385 what do you mean?.....btw i really love Japanese houses, their enviroment, and their culture

  • @JeanPierreRamos 9 out of 10 chance house is goodbye cause the water probem

  • @JeanPierreRamos note...this vid was made in 2007

  • @Cz1385 so....because it was made in 2007 that doesn't mean that she moved...who knows maybe you are right but that depends on her...i'm just saying that she is lucky to live there or lived!? ....but if i was her i'll stay there for my entire life :D

yo can i ask you a question?

  • thats an amazing flat! i would love to work in rural Japan when i become a JET i;m applying this year...when the application form finally comes out! I think Tokyo flats will be a lot different to this!

  • its really nice congrats on the great luck

  • i used to live in japan and learnt a fair bit of japanese but,now i prefer to live in the philippines,i thought the japanese people are very difficult to get to know on a personal basis...like i was always treding on eggshells with what i said.but the filipinos are so jokey and easygoing

  • You look really young to be in the JET programme

  • oooh, it looks expensive. and i LOVE IT.

  • lol i like the room just 4 the toilet xD

  • i wouldnt mind living in a place that size , seems kool

  • Hey do you think I could ever go to Japan on a transfer trip in highschool? I study japanese alot and live in chicago. do you know of any organizations that would let me transfer there for 6 months or a year in junior or senior year? just asking ;)

  • @LuckyNote64 try a foreign exchange program1 lol i start mine next year. you can do a academic year, a semester or summer....its quite pricey but its well worth it message me for more info

  • um u single? if u r... :)

  • beatiful House!! ... I want to live in Japan.., but.., I live in Mexico.., hehehhehe TK

  • Informative and helps me to decide if Tochigi is appealing to live and work. Yes, it does.

  • so how far is this place from Tokyo?

  • The Japanese apartments are cool and all, but why must the toilet be in another room while the bath and sink is in a separate room? That is so nasty on so many ways.

  • @Revansmask17 But it looks like many toilets have sinks built into the top of the tank on the back. Can't ever use the tank water for emergency purposes like you can here in the states, but at least you can wash your hands. =>

  • @DanAmerican

JUSTMAKE SURE THAT YOU BRING SOME SOPE INTO THE TOILET ROOM, BECAUSE IM PRETTY SURE NO ONE WANT'S TO TOUCH A DOORNOB WITH SHIT AND GERMS DWEWLING ON THE HANDLES.

I REPENT FOR THE CURSING WORD SHIT, BUT SOMETIMES THE WORD SHIT HAS TO BE USED IN CONVERSATION'S LIKE THIS POST.

  • @Revansmask17 It's called space economization. Plus they have a small sink on the top of the water tank, the water form tank makes it work, as well as it flushes the toilet.

  • @tmack1337 thats for only when you have mats, i think

  • wut i suggest is u throgh away all this stuff and stock up a nice japanese style furniture maybe from Ikea, honestly your washroom is not clean and i also recommend you buy spin load laundry cause the top load,,, hmm i just dont like it

  • Wow the girl is pretty!

  • what song is playing? : )

  • With that space, you would probably have to pay 6 or 7 times more in Hong Kong. In rural areas probbaly still at least 4 or 5 times more.

  • Nice apartment! :)

  • I'm luvin' this!

  • Thanks, I really enjoyed your contribution.

  • hey bopbopbopbopbop,

just wondering if you could tell me the tune that's playing in the background. kinda cool!

    thanks!

  • hey bopbopbopbopbop,

just wondering if you could tell me the tune that's playing in the background. kinda cool!

    thanks!

  • Imogen Heap - Headlock

  • What's a JET program?

  • ahh nice place, if i ever moved to japan this i would love an apartment like this, ive seen so many small ones on here, but this is nice a big lol

  • did she died?

...lol...just kidding, can I have that extra room? =D

So how's the life in Japan nowadays is it boring, interesting, fun, or crappy?

I would be VERY happy to hear about life in a rural area of Japan. -Rob

  • That is one of the nicest apartments ive ever seen in japan.. especially for 600 bucks

  • Comment removed

  • this is a really amazing apartment! I am going to Tokyo this fall and am still looking for an apartment....

how far are you away to let's say Shinjuku or Shibuya?

  • big n nice pLace!!!!! Looks very confortabLe ;)

  • Maybe rent the xtra space to a local? or build floor 2 ceiling shelves and make a museum for Hello Kitty merchandise?

  • you are very hot,and beautifull.

  • LOL I love how you have an extra room... most people are struggling for space in their japanese apartments.

  • Im sick of living in America. Perhaps living in Japan is where I should go in the next 20 years?

  • @Revansmask17 lol if you dont like america, then japan isnt a bad idea... its completely different.

  • @unicyclst

I like America, but im ready to leave my home country for good

  • @Revansmask17 OMG I AM TO!!, sad part is. im only 15. idk japan has always fascinated me and i would mind living there the rest of my life, haha

  • @sAsUsAkU6000

Before you even consider moving out of the country, I advise you to learn Japanese and learn how to read in Japanese because you do not want to go to Japan and you don't understand what the fuck is going on.

You don't want to be like the Mexicans when they come over to America and they don’t know how to speak English. Don't do that to yourself in Japan miss.

  • @Revansmask17 lol that actually wouldnt bother me and i do kno a pretty good amount of japanese. i can speak it and i kno the words and etc. its just i need to do the reading. and COME ONE.i have 6 years till i go to japan since im only a sophomore. and im going abroad when im a junior in college... thats enough time to kno about it. plus ive already been there once before. i just didnt live there. and lmfao i dont give a crap bout mexicans.

  • @sAsUsAkU6000

Gash your ready to go to Japan sooner than I. I only practiced my Japanese for only one month and those were only the basics. Im down to learning my colors in Japanese and I can barely speak an entire sentence in Japanese. I am jealous of you right about now.

  • @Revansmask17 hahahah ty. ive been studying since may. and it is now aug. UGH. sometimes i dnt wanna study buh i do. hahaha i dnt even study for school. im surprised that i get good grades 8|

  • @Revansmask17 Don't be jealous (:

  • @Revansmask17 I actually know how to speak it c(:

My Aunt is Japanese , so I've been good for a while .

  • Thanks again for the comments! To answer some questions: 60,000 yen = around 600 dollars. I know that it's a big place, especially by Japanese standards (it's actually family-sized). The reason I got a big apartment for such a good price: it was in a more rural area, and I was working as part of the JET Program, so they subsidized my rent. So, to anyone who wants to move to Japan, I would recommend looking into JET--it was an awesome way to see the country and get paid at the same time :)
