i remember that my lodge was the Birds Nest lodge and my study group instructors were Eyton(i don't know if i spelled it right) and Mimi.

Also, it was when Green wood Elementary went there.

One more thing, when i was there i saw a dead shrew...and it was right after breakfast!

p.s. the kitchen guy was named Sal I think

Last year I had to go to YMCA Camp Orkila. There were no doors to the cabins and i had to wake up at 6:30 am each morning. I also remember going on the suspension bridge

This is an incredible video to get some quick insight on the many progressive structures IslandWood has to offer. I am currently a graduate student at IslandWood as well as an instructor for the Student Overnight Program. I use the venues mentioned in this video every week as a tool to help my students build connections and create relationships with their natural environement. If you ever have a chance you should come visit IslandWood to check out these magnificent buildings.
