  • Humans can punch over 1800 lbs of force or over 800 kg. German Shepards can bite at over 400 lbs... wt?

  • im guessing the wolf's bite force is probably 635 alteast.

  • Dumb ass national geo there so stupid you cant compare a croc to a wolf there 100% different

  • great pyrenees are pretty good biters to :P

  • 1 wolf isn't that scary yes.....but a pack of 12 or 15 of those fuckers come up on you I bet you be shiiitttiiiin.

  • Pittbull got owned, Rotty wins the domestic category but if I had to through some real competition in for the Rotty it would be a Fila Brasileiro and the Dogo Argentino

  • I wish I were a big strong dominant aggressive male but I'm too nice.

  • FUCK YOU CROCS

  • Hell yeah that's defensive! A wolf's full bite force is 1,200 psi. I wouldn't suggest going near him again

  • @NinjaFox97: Fortunately, a single wolf is almost never dangerous to a man/woman(if they don't bite you hard, aggressively and determined), unless taunted or cornered, especialy if you are more than one man/woman. Atleast not if it's hungry.

  • "fear makes the wolf bigger then he is."

  • feel so sorry for thewolf, being backed in a corner with a bunch of weird poles poking at it

  • FLOG GNAW

  • @DrPoon ur the most fucking retarded moron

  • 1:46 "look at the hair standin up on ts back"

yea thats his way of sayin, "look this aint whatcha want....get tha hell away from me"

  • WOLF IS MY FAMILY~

  • DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY!

  • several people go into a wolve's area without any protective clothing, then cornering it to provoke an attack. Other than trying power tools on your own body, is there anything more stupid you could do?

  • that guy didnt even get a proper bite ! that was a nibble!

  • I think people need to take note that Brady Barr makes a point of saying twice that it was a "Defensive Bite" and "One hell of a defensive bite at 406 lbs!". He's clearly suggesting that an Offensive bite would be much higher. For example, The Rott had a long, running jump into the bite which was definitely an "Offensive Bite" and measured 328lbs.

  • I dont care what Barr says. A natural wolf will never match the bite strength of a pure bred pit/dobby/rott/irish hound.

  • @DrPoon The only dogs that would beat 406 lbs are the really large Molosser breeds. Pit Bulls are much too small. Doberman's aren't really known for bite power I'd suggest it would similar to at Pitty's. A Rottie was tested and it was ~330 lbs. Irish Wolfhounds aren't the dogs they once were as the breed died out - now-a-days they're basically just Deerhound x Great Dane.

  • @DrPoon then you're a moron

  • @DrPoon Its not what he says, its what the equipment is registering. I mean you cant argue it. No one is saying that in a fight the wolf would win alone, but if he bites, its gonna be harder than any Domestic dog.

  • @DrPoon

He tested a pit and a rott and the pit was only about half. It's not as if he just looked at these animals and went "oh I bet that wolf bites hard." He used science and technology. You should look into it.

  • @DrPoon you got from the measurement 406 on a single defensive bite and u are telling us the breeds you mentioned bite stronger. imagine that wolf to bite in full force how much power will produce

  • Comment removed

  • there are more then one breed of dog that can kill wolf . i dont understand why people think no dog can kill wolf one on one .

  • the wolf wasn't even trying, lol imagine if it actually wanted to attack them

  • Part of the reason my be unlike crocs, DOGS are not reptiles............... You cant compare them. lmao

  • @dxhaloboy That's true

  • @dxhaloboy the program was about bite force not dogs, so it was totally relevant.

  • @godzillaisnuclea123 No they tested mainly the bite force of "DOGS" or dog like and clearly he was trying to compare the two like a dumb ass.......... sorry if I made your dad look bad.

  • @dxhaloboy ye but they tested the croc in the same program

  • @godzillaisnuclea123 Okay shut up now. idc

  • @dxhaloboy lol

  • The CUOSER WE GET THE BWIGGER THE FAUBAK, it common sense, anything to make anything thing seem so epic. 'The closer his wife gets the smaller his dick is"

  • I guessing wolves have the most powerful bite out of all canines because of the kind of prey they encounter, such as moose. Also the effects of low temperatures freezing dead meat could also lead to a more robust bite.

  • @gromann that's the thing. I know how to assert myself as alpha, mainly because I am very spiritually connected with wolves. I honestly have natural instincts that are wolf like.

  • @AlphaWolfLulu88 Then clearly you are not wolf-like, because in wild packs the term "alpha" is obsolete. Research has found that packs are made up of a breeding pair (the 'mother and father') and their offspring. Wolves do not compete to be the dominant pair, something which the term "alpha" suggests.

However, in captive wolf packs, the term alpha can be used because the situation is very different. Wolves cannot disperse therefore in that situation they will form a sort of hierarchy.

  • Do that with a hyena I know there closer too a cat but they'd demolish that test

  • Is it just me, or is that wolf fat?

  • wolfs r the king of the forrest

  • Sooo many sexual innuendos

  • wolfs only have one set of teeths so they have to be careful with them.....thats why we made this one bite as hard as it could on our stick. it was awesome.

  • @skoda10 Lol. Wolfs? Teeths?

    WOLVES. TEETH.

  • Don't fuck with turtles.

  • @zaid123scorpions trollface.jpg

  • dafuq imagine it if it bite your ear!

  • The true bite force of an average timber wolf is 1500 pounds per square inch. A nibble on a metal pole is no measurement.

  • a nibble... wowwww lol

  • poor wolve minding its own buisseness then some fuckers try to annoyit the wolve shoulda went for the tv crew instead

  • AWWWW, It´s so cuddly wuddly i just wanna pet it. OMG MY GOD, ITS BITING MY ARM, AAAAARRRRRRGG

  • What?! That wolf isn't posturing aggressively... he was being mildly defensive. I'd probaby bite that stick if they shoved it in my face like that. And that was just a warning nip, no flesh tearing intended.

  • cheetahs have a 500 pound bite force

  • @Cheetree1 No shit..... Cheetahs have different teeth size and jaw size BITCH... im just kidding ur not a bitch... lol

  • Ima get a croc

  • they need special care and very good experience and a lot of time just help saving them instead of trying to get one as a pet

  • Comment removed

  • i raised an orphan wolf she is just like a dog even more friendly but her jokes are unacceptable lol i mean her main joke is biting and riding ur back and head and she is so emotional when she start licking and kissing she wont stop till u get annoyed but i wont but i do not recommend any one to raise one at any circumstances those animals need a huge space and their pack to live unfortunately mine by the time i got there hunter killed her whole pack

  • @wolfman23ed That story is so ridiculous that I wish you were joking.

  • WTF THAT WAS A NIBBLE!!!1

  • If you want a Wolf as a pet, buy a Utonagan

  • if that wolf wanted to do mega damage it would have done so from the get go. wolves are hella big. I use to know a guy who had a wolf as a pet and for some reason the wolf was protective of me. So the wolf wouldn't bite his owner I had to leave the area where the wolf was at. The guy later told me the wolf is protective over women and has bitten him twice. because of his stupidity on keeping a wild animal as a pet the animal was taken away from him and placed in a wild animal sanctuary.

  • Brady is my idol!

and the show is one of my favorites of Nat Geo, pity that in Spain they broadcast it so late at night :-(

  • guys i love this video n i love animals n brady barr !

  • Imagine if the wolf was biting for it's life? The number should be around 1000+

  • Wow! I didn't know wolves could bite that hard. That wolf is BEAUTIFUL. One of the most prittest wolves i've ever seen. I love wolves. AMAZEING animals. I don't know why ppl could hunt such a beautful animal.

  • wolves need to be taken out of our national forests, they destroy elk and deer populations. I killed four wolves last year and plan on getting as many as possible this year.

  • @20byrd how could you!! wolves are beautiful creatures, youre killing wolves because they kill elk and deer, shouldnt someone be killing you because you kill wolves?? they have just as much right in this world then any human does and i know that i would lay down my life to protect one! why cant you see that killing any animal is wrong!

  • wolves arnt supose to be in tinny cages they were meant to run

  • @surfs1man It's hardly a tiny cage.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of wolves in captivity were BORN in captivity, therefore if they were released they wouldn't stand a chance in the wild. They would either starve (since they have not learned the necessary hunting skills) or be killed by another wolf or predator (e.g. bear/cougar).

I could understand your point if the wolves were in a tiny cage with no stimulation, however the enclosure in the video is pretty big...

  • i bet yall that a caucasian shepherd could go beyond that wolfs actuall bitting force...

  • what about a hyena?

  • @xenomann442 Hyenas have a bite force of 11,400 lbf/in², whereas the measly wolf has a bite force of 1,500 lbf/in² - the hyena would destroy the wolf with ease.

  • @xenomann442 Hyenas chew, eat, and digest bone...think about it. ;3

  • Hyenas and mastiffs can reach higher numbers.

  • i want a wolf now heehee xP

  • "The closer we get, the bigger the wolf looks."... no shit.

  • @thefarheensauce isnt it supposed to get smaller??..lmao

  • poofy

  • wtf did they kill at the end wtf

  • @TheLockerzAddict bison or buffalo

  • why do they measure a force in pounds? this is just wrong o.O

  • @bigOryx because imagine if someone dropped a heavy object that weighed 406 pounds on your hand. That is the equivalent to the wolfs bite and why they measure in pounds, it's easier to understand.

  • Comment removed

  • That wolf didnt even try to bite either

  • what the fuck kind of bullshit is this, bother a poor wolf in a cage and get it to bite you and then act like you're hot shit because the big mean wolf bit you

  • @Zeratchi a cowards weapon, my GSD was protecting me, I was petting the hybrid..Der Stahl Baron was very protective of his girls...I felt sorry for the hybrid, and apologized deeply to the German lady that owned him..but understand there are varying %s of degree of wolf in any hybrid.

  • @foxmoon09 with VERY HIGH fences lol, and alot of knowlege..they are sneaky..love wolves..since I am of the Wolf Clan of the Cherokee Nation..we hold them in high standards. They are brave also..I'd love to own one, but fear I'm not alpha enough for them, a GSD..I can handle. Wolves sense weakness in any animal..something to think about. Even a hybrid.

  • I was bitten by a wolf (My fault). His 2" incisor penetrated into my arm, tore muscle (Looked like I had a huge tumor on my arm for a while) and scarred my bone. When he tore my muscle in my arm, it also sucked in air through the hole, so when I grabbed it it made a sucking sound. The bone scar hurt the worst. He bit me twice, the first bite tore the muscle and scarred the bone, the second but was just an afterthought and barely scratched my skin, I don't even remember it bleeding.

  • THE AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE IS A LEGEND OF BITE !!!

  • I seen this show. But you instigate a confrontation. And the big guy rips you a new one. You'll go wee, wee, wee. all the way home.

  • jaguar bite 2000 pounds

  • @mystical902 Actually, the wolf wasn't using it's entire bite force. If you listen, you'll notice he said DEFENSIVE bite. If a wolf uses full power, it can bite with OVER 1,200 pounds of pressure per square inch of its jaw.

  • @NinjaFox97 sry i cont think so!

  • i favorited it when he said. to get him to bite the bar We have to corner him" and cornered animals are Aalways dangerous encounters.

  • It would be cool to own a wolf, but fuck that! That bitch will turn on you and rip you to a million little pieces!

  • THE MOST POWERFOOL BITE IS DOGO ARGENTINO

  • @martindogo really what is its bite force?

  • @martindogo IGNORANT ....

  • THE KING OF BITE IS MY DOG : AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER !!!

  • @DEVASTATOR478 Actually, no. Try a mastif. but Am staffs are close.

  • @Texaswolf88 THE AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER THE CHAMPION OF BITE ! 741 KG for cm/2 !!!

  • I'd like to see someone put their little pitbull against this beast.

  • @BlueGama600 it would be eaten against a wolf ...I'd love to watch, but I really hate dog fights...but then again, the wolf is canis lupus, not canis familiarous (sp)...

  • @AnnieOaklie63 So true

  • Matrix dog...

  • @Havayosunu

What's gained by that, exactly? I think most people with an IQ above room temperature are pretty well aware that if a wolf bites you it's going to seriously hurt you and that it's something you should generally avoid; there's no particular advantage to quantifying it.

  • Wolf bite strength is 1,200 pounds per square inch, not 450. A German shepherd can bite with 450, but a wolf bite is much more powerful. Get your facts strait! This guy was just giving you a warning bite- when feeding and crushing bone, full force is used.

  • To all you who are all "ZOMG I LURV WOLFES I WANT ONE 4 A PET!!1!"...

I love wolves too. Enough to leave them in the WILD where they BELONG. Owning a dog that's half wolf is one thing, because it's still half domestic, but owning a pure-blooded wolf is wrong. Wild animals should stay wild animals. Keeping it as a pet is like putting a wild bird in a cage. You shouldn't do it. It deprives them of their natural rights. Besides, because they're wild, they're unpredictable and dangerous.

  • @VelKitty NO FUCKING SHIT

  • @KingsSneakyKills :/ No need to be rude.

  • @VelKitty if i wwanted o friend a pure blood wolf, id just buy a cabin out in the woods, and just hang out outside all day. no dimestication involved. Hell when I die I wanna be a wolf. Hell ive had dreams about it. Wolves for the win!

  • @VelKitty i wanted a pet wolf until i turned 10. then i saw how big they were and learned that that they could easily kill you. but i still like wolves. and i agree

  • @VelKitty Yeah dont get a 100% wolf. There is Wolfdogs that looks like a wolf but acts more like a germen shepherd. Those are working dogs. that need alot of work and training. They can be learned to rescue people after a avalache or pull things. but they can also be a great friend. but people dont get a full wolf. you might do something wrong and the wolf attacks. thats not his fault. and if you make him do wrong. wolves will get a worse reputation. they are great animals.

  • @VelKitty mate i agree but you got one thing wrong there fairly easy to predict and there not dangerous to humans they will never bite a human UNLESS u really piss it off

  • @camthebestman Actually, no. No wild animal is easy to predict. I am an animal lover, and I have studied all kinds of wildlife (on my own time) my entire life. There have been documented accounts of loving wolf owners who have been attacked randomly. So they actually can be dangerous, and shouldn't be kept as pets. I do agree with keeping some in captivity for study and preservation, though, as long as they're treated well.

  • @VelKitty But what if you get a wild animal from a person who breeds them? I hear people who have pet Foxes and they buy them from people who breed Foxes as pets so they aren't really taking them from the wild since they were already in captivity when they were born. I understand they still have wild instincts though such as hiding and biting if threatened and only wanting to be petted or held when it wants to.

  • @TheCajunGambit1 You're thinking of Siberian Foxes. They've been part of a domestication experiment for the last 50 or so years. They seem to be coming a long way in that regard, actually. Google "sibfox" and you'll find their website and info.

  • @VelKitty Yea I heard of that experiment but I know of some breeders who sell foxes as pets here in USA. They also sell Raccoons and Coyotes too but you need a special license to own them and the breeders won't sell you those animals if you don't show an exotic pet license.

  • @TheCajunGambit1 That, I disagree with. I don't support the idea of owning a full-blooded wild animal as a pet unless it was orphaned and found. I know someone who found an orphaned fox and raised it as her own, and he acts just like a puppy dog now. I know another woman who raised an orphaned deer.

  • @VelKitty You make good points but one thing... WolfDogs are NOT good options, unless you have a good understanding of dogs AND wolf behavior, the ability to get them to submit (wolves arent like dogs in that regard). The only people that should be allowed to own a wolfdogs are people with the understanding, its not truely a domestic dog anymore and how to deal with a dog whos negotiations involve growling and potential bites. If you want a wolf or a WolfDog, get a Tamaskan; Wolf(dog) arent pets

  • @gromann Agreed.

  • Thats what happens when you fuck with a wolf. Just leave them be.

  • tell Bella to back off!

  • aww cute wolf

  • bite force of a fat man?

  • how can somthing this cute be so dangures?

  • 80 people fucked a sheep

  • @TheUltimateSlapper how would you know that?

  • Camera man, what's the scouter say about his bite force? ITS OVER 400!!!!

  • @wolflover123100

    I have 2 German shepherds!!

  • I would'nt want to be near THAT wolf.

  • I LOVE WOLFS!

  • @Jessica141996 wolves

  • they should let a pack of wolves surround that guy to see how he would feel

  • sunsdomain is right. problem is, people are very curious about these 'specs' such as foot speed, bite force, etcetera, and, typical people being not very intelligent, reading the results isn't good enough- they need to SEE violence, and jerkoffs like this brady guy go after the info with little concern for treating the animal with respect. Money talks, apparently. It is a shame, but if you are hoping for politicians to do something about it, that is as unlikely as it gets. Homo sapiens is evil.

  • @7mikethebike If they were dealing w/ a true need, having the wolf bite the gauge was most likely incidental.

  • press ctrl f4 to skip ads

  • wolfs are nice animals i like to learn more

  • one bite, ur dead.

  • the wolf has a great bite, but.. you're dead if he bite's you with the BIGFANGS!

  • DAMN....... wouldnt wanna be bitten by tht guy

  • Why the fuck are they messing with wild animals anyway?

  • I swear... if I see one more wolfaoo comment, either about having a pet wold (bullsheet) or being a wolf 'inside' I'm gonna kill someone.

  • @dropletkit

Dude you probably shouldnt be watching wolf videos then... just sayin

  • @heartlessd97 I can watch what I like thanks. I was just curious about a wolves bite force, when I stumbled upon a comment or few hundred that couldn't be true. And I'm a girl not a 'dude' thanks.

  • @dropletkit

Dude... then dont scroll down the page or something...just sayin. So balls to you and have a great day

  • @heartlessd97 I can do what I like thanks. It was under your own measures to even bother replying to my comment. And once again, I'm female thanks.

  • @dropletkit Fine then, go back to the kitchen.

  • @dhruve4c No need to be stereotypical. And I'm thirteen why would I go to the kitchen? I have far better things to do then cook.

  • @dropletkit Thats not stereotypical, its sexist. Go to school, learn the difference.

  • I wondor how a wolf would react if you approached it in a special composion armor you made then once it got was getting pretty defencive you just caught fire.... I think he'd crap his self. It'd be funny stuff to watch too. It's like saying to the wolf, "So you think your tough because you can growl? Well how bout this!?!?!"

  • i wish that wolf would bit that dudes arm off.

  • I got bit by a fuckin wolf and I turned into a goddamn warewolf the next day

  • @thefury187 O_o you should get that checked out

  • @thefury187 hahahahahahahahahahahhaha lol that's awesome man good comment lol

  • @thefury187 Really? Me too. Good to see I'm not alone.

  • @thefury187 I was bit by a bobcat and turned into a werecat...maybe we should start a support group.

  • @thefury187 How many pounds was his bite???

  • @2ilsenzacuore9 idfk

  • @thefury187, No kiddin? I never talked to a wearwolf! You can still browse Youtube, read, and type? How you do that with paws? Do you howl at da moon? Do ya do it doggy-sty**? (I can't say it) What about fleas, do ya get bothered by them dam fleas? Me too! 8-P

  • @thefury187 NICE!

  • @thefury187 LMAO

  • @thefury187 WereWolves FTW!!!

  • wolves* not wolfs. :)

  • dude that was only a defensive bite, if you take a bite theyll use for hunting its going to be over 1000 pound

  • you can tell that wolves are big when their ears almost touch each other like the wolf's ears you see on this video and hybrid wolves have big separated ears which means they are nothing compared to those wolves in the wild

  • Wolfaboos abound in this video

  • ha-ha wolves ARE powerful!!! to all of u bitches out there who hate wolves: ha-ha u r standing corrected!!! u should respect them now or i'll call my fellow wolves to KILL u!!

  • @conandweezmovies oh yeah!!! thats right we'll fight back
