Does anyone else think that this song could be a Marilyn Manson song? The distortion effects (on the guitars and the vocals) are classic Manson, and the chorus even has the same "HEY! YOU!" as 'Beautiful People'. I'm not saying they're copying Manson, just that the resemblance is uncanny.

Nothing at all except for the lyrics. This is something I don't understand when people say they hate christian music. It's the exact same music that they listen to except the lyrics hold christian beliefs. Hope that helps :)

Well they're Christians on a christian label so (most) people automatically think boring/preachy/bad christian music. FF5 do have references to God & religion in their music though not directly. My point was that their are a lot of awesome christian rock acts who IMO play better music than what you here on commercial radio yet have nowhere near the success because people are put off by the 'christian rock' thing.

@TMBfeast B/c religion is a certain style of music. LOL Really. The only reason there is that notion in terms of Christianity is thanks to the Romanization of Christinaity by Constantine and the church being seen as a building rather than the Body of Christ (AKA Christ followers), which is what the church is, tradition became the status quo for a while, but things shifted in the 1960's. All that to say, if it glorifies God, it doesn't matter what instruments you use or how it sounds. :)

@TMBfeast For clarification, I meant traditions as in the catholic traditions which even after Martin Luther posted his 95 thesis did NOT leave the "church", MANY are still there (in the end following God's word IS the bottom line). Anyway, the point is, the lyrics are what matters and many of FF5's lyrics reflect a Christian faith, the music is can be whatever, it is the words that count!
