Do you happen to know when another great cosplay for naruto and other types of anime similar to the one in this video will take place in Dallas, Texas for 2013? A friend of mine, my little sister, and I have been saving up money for a trip with cosplay and we should be ready by 2013. The problem is we're having trouble finding good/spectacular/amzing/ etc. xD anime conventions in the south.

Pretty epic battle! Riley you definitely do pokemon battles justice, too many times there are play battles like this and one person, or both don't react to being struck or their attacks look all wimpy. I wish we could have a pokemon battle, because like you I run around, try to make moves unique and react to being hit. <3

@Italychan Ah yes! Thanks so very much for mentioning this- it's something that Ani and I always strive to do. We feel that cosplay should be just as much about mirroring a character's looks as it is bringing a character to life. We always try to engage our audience to give them the best presentation and personal interaction and experience with our artwork in a way no other medium can. Poor vision and Ani deafness are problems, but we've had many fun, successful impromptu battles :) Thanks!

Good to hear you guys had many successful battles! I also try to full my characters with life, I entered my Growlithe into a costume contest and I didn't just walk on I danced my way to center stage. xD

Poor vision is to be expected but you also get used to it. Without animation you're just some person in a suit and what fun is that?

@rimokina Haha funny enough the Lugia was a completely random stranger to me and it was a happenstance meeting. XD We seemed to make each other's day when we met face to face- I didn't even know she had made a costume to match mine until that weekend. But it sure was awesome in the end!
