  • that looks more like he is going about 65 lol

  • what did you use for a gear for the chain tensioner? Whats it off of?

  • what is your gear ratio?

  • Can u tell me what kind of engine did u mount it

  • I had the crank made wider at a weld shop

  • where can i buy this wide crank arms?

  • Great job man! just got into this a few months ago and im now on my second build... i live in new england as well... maine to be more specific. my second build is a new trike with a lifan engine.

  • Shouldn't the jackshaft eliminate the drive side change?

  • What a RIDE !!!

  • would you make one to sell it?

  • Maaan, what a sound! A real chopper you've made! Great machine with style.

  • Awesome job!

  • SICK BIKE!!!!!!

  • Sick ride man, you have prompted me to begin work on something like this for myself.

  • whats the gear ratio

  • what is the gear ratio? nice design!

  • did you take the governor off?

  • im making one and im wondering---how did you attach the sprocket to the back wheel?

  • I like it a lot. Where did you get the motor from? I want one.

  • Are you familiar with the SBP shift kit, the way you mounted the engine indicates you could really be shifting gears and have an awesome range of torque and top speed!

  • ZOOMBIKEKITS. COM

  • Have you considered a muffler?

  • this is the niciest bicycle with engine, so far that i seen in youtube... nice men,,, so nice

  • that bike is kool man how dod u make your jack shaft?

  • Pretty exciting, if you're Canadian. lol

  • that is waaaaaay too much,, i prefer my 2 stroke engine instead..anything over 40 mph you're asking to get tangled up under an axle of a truck. good luck trying to stop, too much wieght.

  • It freaks me out that the engine note doesn't change with the revs haha

  • How Much Did It Set You Back For The Whole Project??

  • Nice bike how much does does that engine weigh I'm suprised that bike could hold it

  • i love your creations, but the only problem with this one is that it sounds like a motor bike (the real version like Triumphs and BSA's) if it was me i would want it to sound different. Good Job anyway!

  • how many burns do u have

  • LOWER THE SEAT woohoo

  • bike man can you send me plans and what parts you used etc.. i want to build one

  • That's what you need to make all your bikes sound like

  • Nice job!!!

  • I liked it. Pretty cool!

  • I thought the idea of a jackshaft was to increase the gear ratio..

  • awesome bike sounds great! but im not all for that seat..

  • bad ass!

  • what r ur gear ratios?

  • damn those spokes are nice! motorcycle spokes really...nice bike man

  • you can ride dat shit on da road

  • Sweet sounds good too

  • wow, I wish I had any of your motorized bikes. they're awesome.

  • looks realy good

  • beautiful job sir! I have always wanted to build my own motorized bike...my vespa just doesnt give me the same sense of acomplishment that i would feel when taking off on something i built. I have watched 3 of your vids thus far and have been more and more impressed by each. 5 stars my friend, 5 stars.

  • make a muffller

  • new england cops r ok with a 200cc moped?

  • i love it

  • Do you sell your bikes?

  • Those speedos go up to 299km/h or 185mph, or at least my Cateye Velo 8 does, so unless you've mounted a superbike engine, you should be able to measure speed up to more than high enough

  • wow that thing has some bark to it

when you take of it sounds like a real chopper

very nice one, wish me luck im trying to build one myself

  • eu fiz tambem sou do Brazil, ve meu video. abraço Amauri

  • wow, you got rubber brakes on that??

    why not put disc brakes...

    rubber will run out fast...

  • god that looks funnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • YES THATS NICE Bicykle,

I TRY TO FIND SOMETHING LIKE THAT;)

    NICE VIDEO

  • Wow,40mph that's pretty fast for bicycle!

  • can you ride that on the side walk?

  • You can always pedal for more speed - provided you have the ratios

  • i plan on making one only with a mountin bike for the front suspendzion and by the way u clutch is rubbing at an iddle so u probly need a new clutch soon

  • amazing bike is it for sale? and also where did you get the engine from if you could tell me where you got the engine and make up some blueprints on how to build it using the bike you got i will pay for the blue prints

  • u need some type of guard over the chain so ur pant leg doesnt get caught

  • i have a guard but you usually need one custom so it is a pain in the ass

  • Sweet build! Love it!

Just an idea for ya....Sounds like your RPMs are quite low, even when you rode by (1:57). More than likely you are getting alot of clutch slippage at lower speeds (<10MPH). Try using a larger rear sproket. Looks like you have around a 48 tooth on there. If you went up to a 56 tooth, your RPMs will come up a bit faster, lessening clutch slippage, and get that motor into the power band sooner...Plus you'll get a nicer hole-shot!

Flipping sweet build though man! ++

  • Who did your exhaurst? Sounds deep, goes with ride. Real cool man. funny as hell but, real cool.

How are the brakes? did you eat shit the first time you slammed on the brakes at 40?

  • Hey can you please tell me were you got the springer seat stem? I really need one for my bike. Very nice build!

  • Thats a serious build! well done I am planning on using a 4 stroke engine like that with the centrifugal clutch, driven through the actual crank of the bike - with drive sprockets on both sides with the crank arms cut off, using the actual derailleur for gear ratio and the original bottom bracket of the bike as a jackshaft of sorts , I havent figured out exactly how yet but im sure it will work

  • That seat looks comfortable.

  • sweet man good job

  • ur canadian arent u

  • @benmays54 no i am not i am from new england

  • @bikeman6969 u sound canadian

  • @benmays54 Whaddya mean, you're Canadian? I'm Canadian, eh! We build ours with monster truck tires!

  • @ladrave canadians build whatever thier oppresive gov't allows them to build. and that aint much.

  • @asssface2000 WTF! We build anything we want! We built the Avro Arrow and did mach 2 with it in 1959!

  • Hell yah, using a sprocket on the idler. the rollers suck.

  • Bitchin!

Hey finally someone likes those seats! I have one and can't use it because its too far forward without a layback post.

  • dude that bike is badass im building a mini chopper out of a few different bike frames welded together i cant wait until its done

  • I DO LIKE IT!!!!!!

    can i have it

  • where can i buy a 1 speed bike that is a 26". Help Me

  • @Silverblack218 ebay look under beach cruiser

  • @Silverblack218 Walmart. A Huffy Beach cruiser for $75 brand new. I have some videos of me riding my Huffy Cranbrook Cruiser 80cc. It did 32mph according to the digital speedo.

  • @Silverblack218 walmart, target, toysrus, any bike shop, beach cruisers are very popular and easy to find in any store that sells bikes.

  • where did you get the motor from whats top speed you ever got to

  • The engine that is 2 times or 4 times??

  • i would hate poping my tire going that fast

  • Hey. I am making a bike kinda like that one now. I'm using a 3hp briggs on a stretched Schwinn cruiser frame. Going to be pretty kickass when done!

  • nice job how much weight did that add to your bike because that engine is huge compared to those litlle 80cc two stroke engines

  • It does not sound as if its even off an idle when your at 40.Top end must be unreachable.

  • Oh, and the way that thing is set up it looks like it would snag your pants in the chain pretty easily :(

  • you should see about speeding up the build process and selling those things, I know there's a lot of unmet demand out there for premades that don't top out at 33 mph

  • this is so sick, faster than and sounds cooler than the original moped which you had the option on pedaling or using the motor

  • Awesome build. Your bike sounds terrific.

  • bikeman6969 u rock! that bike is sick!!

  • do you sale any?

  • so if you had a 1HP motor on a quest velomobile, it could do about 90 mph?

  • You can get that bicycle speedo right on the money (using your air valve as the reference.) Starting out with valve at bottom, mark the spot on pavement, roll forward until valve is at absolute bottom again and put a second mark. Measure the distance between marks, plug that into your bicycle speedo & you will have a very accurate speed reading!

    silly willy

  • I gotta admit, that bike is cool!.2 thumbs up for the build!.

  • Thats awesome sir! i was thinking of putting my old lawntractors engine on my bicycle, its like 17.5 horsepower! that would be kick ass!

  • you could drive on the interstate with that, though the DMV may not like you too much.

  • i hope you got good brakes lol

  • so you can drive any bike that is 50cc and under WITHOUT a license? please reply

  • I do belive in most states that you can you can check with your local DMV

  • @bikeman6969 AYe in TN here 50cc and under = nothing at all needed. the kit engines 66cc arent usuallt stamped so one can keep the paperwork from a 50cc engine, ( looks same) ;) im not advocating breaking law, ( im a LEO myself) BUT as said, check with local DMV first. and or state lawbooks. other than that , moto bikes are cool Eh?

  • @Conman395 In North Carolina you only have to be 16 years old. You need no license at all, no insurance, no number plate nothing, just 16 and a helmet. Law say, Less than 50cc (49.9) no external gearchange mechanism (automatic) and no faster than 30mph. Most people choose scooters to fit this requirements. Almost all of then do between 40 and 50 without mods. The police don't bother unless you are passing everyone. I tune scooters in the side, nost will pull about 65mph when modified.

  • @Scootertuner1000 Thank you for the response lol. Wow... I cant believe its been a year! I didn't even remember asking this! Thanks for clearing things up!:)

  • @Conman395 Laws differ depending in the state. For example.. In my state (Illinois,) there are 3 conditions that must be met in order to ride one of these on the street without license or registration: You must be 16, engine must make under 1hp, and it must not be able to go over 20mph. You can cheat on the last 2 though, as long as you don't draw attention to yourself. Legally though, anything over 1hp/20mph must be registered as a moped or motorcycle.

  • @crazyfvck Come on now. If you get pulled over by a cop and there is no markings on the engine, he will not be able to tell a 49cc engine from a 200cc engine or a 1hp engine from a 6hp engine. The engines physical size difference is so minimal between that range of engines that he will believe whatever you tell him it is. Hows he going to write you a ticket with no id, no plates, no VIN #, no insurance. It's the perfect crime. LOL

  • @Conman395 yes it is legal for a bike or scooter under 50cc to drive on any u.s road

  • @123461raymond

Not in new york it isnt.

  • @123461raymond do you mean new york city? because i see them all over new york state?

  • @123461raymond

There technically illegal in all of NY. As of right now, any custom built motorized bicycle is forbidden to ride on the street, and custom building mopeds has no provision in the custom built motorcycle laws ( class C/ below 20MPH ) and with the primitive brakes and small wheels, they will not qualify for a normal motorcycle custom built title/ registration

  • WOW that bike is awsome, i would love a bike like that

  • Insane bike, I love it. I think that your idle is WAY too high as it is burning the hell out of your clutch.

  • Just in case those spedometers must be programmed to wheel size for an accurate reading

    Anyways your a genious

I'll send a vid if my bike works out

  • that thing is NICE!!!

  • Man I wish we could all ride around on those, but unfortunately we'd be run over on the roads.

    Very nice machine

  • 50mph?? thats stupid fast but nice

  • This is the Best one Yet

  • t5hat is the best i seen

  • Bro awesome bike! I've been messing around with a 66cc, I'm def planning on mounting it to my bike!

  • Hello my name aj i think your very good at what you do i am building a bike for my middle school projects i'm using a 2.8 hp motor can any1 tell me where to go to order parts thanks

  • is the oil at the bottom of the motor with it sitting like that

  • Thats cool and it go's fast lol 5/5 stars

  • I like the bobber style.

  • around 197cc but its like a water pump motor meaniing the rpm's are not high wich equals not alot of power(6.5hp is less then an 80cc dirt bike)

  • But it has MUCH more torque than an 80cc. If you remove the governor and airbox cover from it, you get 8HP+ like mine. 6.5HP is only stock at 3600RPM, but they can spin over 5000RPM.

My 196cc engine (on a trailer pushing my bike) gets me over 50mph, and is scary for a bike, hehe

  • Really nice job on your bike! It looks fun!

  • It sounds like a real motor-cycle cool

  • Your idle rpm is way too high. You will burn out your clutch really quick. It's an easy fix and will save your clutch.

  • what type of motor it's that? I want to make one like yours.

  • Thats not a push bike anymore thats a friggen motor bike.Bang up job m8!!

  • I trust my oil bath clutch idea worked for you.

I just shipped a unit to Birmingham AL.

He had a problem with his clutch, but used the old Canola oil heat bath trick, he said it works great smooth as silk..

You never got back to me to tell me if worked.

    Let me know.

    Stuart

  • Top effort! Go the backyard builderz :)

  • Hey Dude, nice job. I'm building one too. What are you using for brakes? My bike only has a coaster brake on it, but I'm a little worried about trying to stop a bike going 40mph with only a coaster brake. Thanks !

  • It sounds really nice!

  • is,nt it kinda top heavy?

  • Remove the govenor!!!!! Let's see that thing FLY!

  • try using a derailer for increased speed, torque, and mileage.

  • GREAT BICYCLE!!!! Just can't beat the 6.5HP on the bike! Your bike inspires me. The bike goes fast and the engine has lots of torque for the gearing. Going over 40 is fun isn't it!!! It was cool to see you riding as fast as that van.

    Have Fun

    Znsane

  • Hey Bud looks great, just wear a helmet.

Check out my videos I wear a helmet all the time, I had my throttle get stuck and it scared the mud out of me thank Heaven I had a helmet on.

    However I did not crash.

    Stuart

  • I agree with the other poster. Please consider getting (and wearing) a DOT helmet. Especially if you are going to be traveling in excess of 40mph. Thank you!

  • Righteous ride! Please consider wearing a DOT helmet. It will save your life because the bicycle helmet is only tested and rated for speeds up to 25mph. I found out the hard way. Good job on the sweet ride.
