at first i did not want to get on this ride but i wanted to stay at the park as long as i could and i ended up liking this ride and these videos are making me cry cause i want to go back.............see u soon Disney world
I really love Winnie the Pooh and the whole gang, but I really wonder what the "boys" at Disney werre on when they came up with Heffulumps and Woozles.
They destroyed country bears jamboree for this low tech dumb ride. Roy Disney said he regretted doing this. I just wish he was still alive to fix his mistake.
I was so excited to ride this ride when I went to Disney World over the summer and I'm 16. Oh god the nostalgia.... It was the only ride I clearly remember riding when I went to Disney when I was very young.
The rides are different between the two parks. We liked the ride in Disney World more. It had more to it and seemed more detailed. The one in Disneyland feels like they took shortcuts and over simplified it.
I never went to disney world as a kid, I can't wait until I become a mom so I can take my children it will be a thrill for not only them but bring out my inner 4 year old self again :D
@Lovepeacepink90. thats not true! mr toads wild ride is in some other land not even near the winnie the pooh ride!! the winnie the pooh ride replaced the country bear jamboree
I like this ride. I rode this with my mom, dad, my little brother, and my mom's friend Kat. This was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! I rode this on my first day in Florida. We rode this at like 11:00 because the park closed at 12:00. I wanted to ride this again!! :)
@Madgam3r345 It's called a "Pepper's Ghost" effect. What you see is the reflection of Pooh projected on an angled sheet of clear glass. The Haunted Mansion uses it on a large scale in the ballroom scene. If you Google, Pepper's Ghost, you can get more info and there's a few YouTube videos on the subject as well.
Could they bring mr toad's wild ride back with the fantasyland expansion?
I mean don't get me wrong, I love Winnie and I like the ride especially the book theming from the cartoons (which I grew up with) that adds such a layer of magic that no other company aside from Disney can recreate (Flame time) but Mr toad's (that's what I called it back then) will always be in my heart.
at 0:45 there is a picture on owls wall of Mr. Toad (From the previous ride that was in winnie the pooh's spot, Mr. Toads Wild Ride) giving owl the deed to toad hall, ( Mr. Toads house) how cool!!
at 4:45 there is a picture on owls wall of Mr. Toad (From the previous ride that was in winnie the pooh's spot, Mr. Toads Wild Ride) giving owl the deed to toad hall, ( Mr. Toads house) how cool!!
WDW all day ! My fav place since I was 2 years old -3 this was my fav and first ride when i was 2, and 10 years later to this day, it brings bak so many memories
I don't care what you guys say: This is about a berzillion times better than Mr. Toad!
Why? Look at the theming! In Pooh, you KNOW what's going on: you see the characters, you're bouncing with Tigger, you're in Pooh's "Heffalumps and Woozles" nightmare. In Mr. Toad, there IS no story. You just swerve around like crazy, and then you get hit by a train. What? Where are the characters? Was it all a dream Mr. Toad was having? And I think people know Winnie the Pooh more than they do Mr. Toad.
@michaelsar12 i definatrly agree w/ you. i hjust wish they had kept both sets of Track for this. that was the neat thing about WDW's Toad. Disneyland only has 1 track
Mr Toad at Disneyland is fab. Not many children I spoke with have read the book if you can believe it!! My kids have read the book over and over, it's a classic
I went on this ride when I was 9 and I was so happy go on it. It was nice to see memory's from when i was really little on a ride. Years later after going on that ride, I would definitely go on it again. Also I can't wait to see the new movie. :)
Another ride I didnt want to ride as I was young but now I reget not enjoying it because I was hanging with my mom, dad, and brother the last good memory before my mom and dad were divorced....Now I want to ride all the rides again with my family as long as I am with them.*sigh*But that isnt going to happen
Right at 00:45 on the left you can see Mr. Toad giving the deed to the 'ride' to Owl, and theres another picture where you can see Pooh talking to Mole
OMG! they should have this in Disneyland Paris, I think they really should! Because it's an original kid's thing... unlike Hannah Montana, I'm 13 and I am dying to go to see this!!! =D
this ride is so much better than the one in the original magic kingdom so much more detail and they just updated the que line for this atraction which makes it even better than the one we got over here
@Lovepeacepink90 I do.They put a tribute for it in the ride. One of the pictures at owl's house shows him collecting the deed from Mr.Toad.You can see the picture at 0:45
@Lovepeacepink90 if you pause the video at 0:46 you'll see a picture of Mr. Toad handing over the deed to the property to Owl on the wall. A nice tribute to the old ride. :)
