Ah, that would have to be a pre '97 Galant then. My dad is about to buy a 2.4 stock year 2000 but with the samurai front mask and the avance side-skirts. Nothing too special but it's great fun nonetheless! He's thinking of adding a spoiler and the baige leather salon. Should be good. Toodles!

i own a stock 4 cyl 2.4 galant no mods nothing !all factory fully loaded !i loved this car since the moment i bought it ! the car has been in two accidents and still runs like brand new ! galants r so much fun to drive but unappreciated in USA !

That defiantly is not an STi. The Rims are right but the Emblem is defiantly noticeable, even from this distance. It is just a EJ20. 225hp if hes lucky.

If you guys are looking to bump up the 6a12 engines....might i suggest the 6g72 engines...3.0 and up....i could be wrong. I just fixed my f4a23-2 tranny but i'm looking to drop in the fm511 box next yr...hope all goes well. Then i'd be v6 2.0 spd all disc... :P

There's always the 6A13TT out of the next generation Galant and Legnum VR4 aswell, which is a 2.5 V6 TT too......

The best bet would be the 6G72TT, the 6A13tt's Gearbox bolts on the other side in the 8G. I think the 7G VR4 was a better built car it had 4WS, Electronic Suspension, was lighter revved higher, enough wasn't done in after market products, guess cus it wasn't exported to a bigger market than Asia where demands would have required it. I have both the 7G and 8G, the 8G has a hell lot more torque but i love playing around in the 7G it handles much better.

@clutsta they dont fit the gearbox is on the drivers side in the gen 7....2.0L 6a12 and the gen 8 .... 2.5L 6a13 is on the passengers the only 6cylinder engine that fits is the 6g72 30L out of the gto
