@filmkid20 Usually on the backside of the glass there's either tape, a ball or these little fingers that kind of hold them in place. We have the mirror glass available to us for the Nissan Altima. If you would like a price on it just reply and I'll send you the price. Hope this helps.
@RGB7005 We currently do not have an auto repair video on this particular vehicle. However the basic steps needed to remove the side view mirror on your 93 should be very similar. Hope this helps you out.
hi, what about removing the door panel driver side on a nissan sentra 06 1.8? Some tryd to break into my car the other night and they puchd a hole under the key hole on driver side so im planing on covering up that hold but need to take off the door panel.
@dgr89cof You would need to remove any of the trim bezels with screws that hold the door panel on, and then remove the door panel with a putty knife or door panel removal tool. On the backside of the door panel there are plastic push pins that fasten the door panel to the door of the car. Hope this helps.
I have a 1997 Nissan Altima that seems to be a little more involved to get to the actual harness plug. My husband is saying he has to take the door panel off is that true?
@longbodie11 It is a socket ratchet and extension. The bolt size is 10mm. The 3/8 is the size of the square drive gear on the ratchet. So to put is simply you need a 10mm socket with a small ratchet and extension.
OMG! I was looking for a video like this for a long time!!! I was going to buy a brand new mirror unit from Nissan (over $175) until I saw this video. Instead, I went to the junk yard and bought a used one for $50, bought some paint and supplies ($50), which cost me a total of $100 to completely finish and install it because someone hit and destroyed the three screws with nuts of the original one my car came with. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! IT WAS MUCH EASIER THAN EXPECTED!!!!
@amphib2007 Thnakss for the comment, glad to help. Just FYI you probably could have got a brand new one, with a warranty, from our site for about the same money.
Does this video help for my Nissan Altima 2009 model? I would really really appreciate it if you get back to me in regards of this :) Thank you!

@carazycutiekim The basics should be the same, such as you would more than likely need to remove the door panel, to remove the side view mirror.

You guys are awesome for putting up this video. I was able to replace my mirrors (2000 Altima) with no trouble at all.

@Bobbalooey Yes, certain options will have a longer harness. Unfortunately at this time I don't have the door panel removal video.

@1aauto Same for the 96 Altima. You have to take the door panel off. Still, your video was very helpful!

Thanks for video!
What is that tool to open three bolts?
Is it called " Nut Driver 10mm (3/8") " or something else?
