I guess the old saying.. do what you love and the money will follow holds true as she has found her own voice now and is doing much better. Seems like people like the cute side of her more.. hence the more recent "marshmallow" and "Good Day" that had brought her more attention and success. She might not have. I don't know about before her debut but if your talking about how she looks now compared to this, I think it looks similar enough. My eyes (I'm Korean) from when I was like 5 to now (I'm in my teens ;) that's all I'll say) are bigger. And I didn't have double lids on both eyes when I was younger but now I do. Plus, her nose is small in here just like how it's small in her later videos. Maybe I'm just being naive but I think she's natural :)

IU's live remind me of TVXQ when they were five and singing live. the only singer's that i know who sings live and beautiful is TVXQ, IU, gain, brave girls,lyn and yangpa..

This song was so hardcore for her before because you can sense her voice cracking and getting hoarse. But man I would love to watch her perform this again! It'd be fabulous! Her voice sounds so much better now! With her age, all she can do is improve improve and improve! I can't wait until her voice is fully developed!

@drp252 well the only reason JYP refused her is because she would've ended up in a girl group (now we all know that would've been a load of b.s.) and they knew better than to do that, so they refused her, and luckily she was contracted under Leon Ent. and became a solo singer

omg I can't believe this is IU! I knew this song when it first came out but I lost it because of a computer crash.. and then the 'new' IU came and I never realized it's the same person! Omg! I'm so shocked right now! o.o..
she's really talented, nd really deserves standing on that stage and doing her thing :D GO IU! :D

The BEST!! IU perfect STRONG live performance! Even though she's not dancing in this perf. like other idols, that's no excuse for her strong vocals. if you watch Marshmallow and Boo perf.s shes STILL better than most idols AND sh'e a solo artist and has to sing the WHOLE song.

IU seriously looks like she's in her 20s. Hard to believe she's like 14 in this video...such a crazy strong voice.
I love IU's new "cute" image but I would prefer to hear stuff like this. But unfortunately her company made her switch because this image wasn't popular. I can understand because I didn't hear this song until a year later...god dammit
