@MrNdsRoms Well, for a start, FileServe is one of the most arse-faced things on the internet in my opinion, but that's just me. It doesn't work when I load up the game; all that comes up is a white screen after the loading bar fills. I'm using the Clean rom, on an R4 Revolution cart. Firmware? I'm not really sure about what that is, sorry but I'm no techie.

@tirantar Try again, it's still there. FileServe did have some maintenance going on a little while ago that may be why that happened, but it's working now.

Does the clean rom work with DeSmuME? I've been trying various roms, but the only rom formats I can fine are in .nd5 formats, and I noticed that those were all patched versions....From my understanding, .nds file formats are some of the only ones that DeSmuME can run, but I'd like some clarification here, 'cause I REALLY wanna play this game!

@Metroidguy94 .nd5 and .nds are the same thing, just rename the .nd5 extension to nds. And if it works it's better to use a clean rom than the patched rom.

@theweasly Use the newest version of No$gba v2.6a, if that doesn't work use DeSmuME 0.9.7 (may or may not work with the patched rom on either emulator best to try the clean rom if the patched doesn't work on the newest version of these emulators)

@26Snorlax Format your card, download woodr4 from the link in the description, extract the file from that, there will be some more archives, extract the files from the one that says Wood_R4, not the other versions, to your M3. Put your games back on, you should now be able to play the game.

I know you're probably bombarded with questions, but I happen to have YSMenu 6.55 on my R4SDHC(Revolution) card, and this isn't working. I'm just getting a white screen. I've looked into this plenty of times, and you might not even have an answer for me, but... Are you sure this works on YSMenu 6.55? I've tried reformatting once already.

@FFVIIGuy123 As far as I know it doesn't work withYSMenu 6.55, But it does work with the RetroGameFan v6.55 firmware (or later versions of it). Just read "Known carts that can use DSTT Firmware.txt" that comes with it to know what folder to use and then read the How to install file that's in that folder.

@martinbfg10k Best chance would to be upgrade your firmware to 1.55 from the website if you already have not, and if it still isn't working try using the patched rom. If it doesn't work with both 1.55 and the patched rom I would suggest getting a new cart as R4Ultra is one of the worst clone cards out there and isn't supported by any good firmware (If you do get a new cart I would suggest anything that can support Wood or Retrogamefan, you can see which carts do in the description.)

@Commando295 No viruses. Needs a different firmware so that it works, both retrogamefan and wood update often. Usually a game has some sort of antipiracy in it making it unplayable, firmware updates get rid of the ap. Because the original firmware doesn't update often, you often need to use fan firmware to play the game. I have links to the firmware in the description, but you can find them at gbatemp.com. You can dualboot firmware w/ some cards, with yours u can use retrogamefan @ ur firmware.

@czaros1994SE that explains why it wouldn't work, woodrpg is for acekard rpg not r4-III, you need to use the retrogamefan firmware. Use the firmware that's in the R4_Clone YSMenu folder, read the Known carts that can use DSTT Firmware.txt that comes in with it if that folder doesn't work.

@TheXtremeKidX no other way on your computer, it's running slow because of the computer. Try teaking with the settings to make it faster (sorry if I'm not much help I have an original R4 so I don't use emulators)

I use R4i card....the game ran well and played it for 4 hrs and didnt even face the stone lantern slashing problem.....I downloaded the patched version. However the problem I face is different...I can save game but once I reboot my dsi I cant longer load from the saved point. The only option I have is to start a new game.
